extremely doubtful for the game.

played for the full 90-minutes as Arsenal reserves went
down 3-2 to Coventry reserves last night. Robert Pires
started the game but was replaced in the 72nd minute.
Alex Manninger and Christopher Wreh also featured in
the game, with Wreh scoring a goal.

Beaten In Ukraine !

Barrett was in the Arsenal squad for tonight's Champions
League game against Shahtar Donetsk in the Ukraine, though
he remained on the bench for the full 90-minutes as Arsenal
went down 3-0 to the Ukrainians, their first defeat of
their current Champions League campaign. Despite the defeat
Arsenal still finished top of their Group table. Arsenal
had been cleared by UEFA to field an under-strength team
as they had already secured their qualification to the
next stage of the competition but Arsene Wenger surprised
many observers with the inclusion of many of his leading
lights.
