Everton
2-0 Arsenal !
Ashley
Cole played the full 90-minutes of the match
as an under-strength Arsenal were comprehensively
beaten 2-0 by Everton in their Premiership clash
at Goodison Park, ending Arsenal's unbeaten
Premiership run of 12-games. Cole's inexperience
let him down and he didn't have a good game,
possibly at fault for both of Everton's goals
as Arsenal found it hard to get into the game
and suffered their first ever Premiership defeat
at Goodison. Arsenal remain in second place
in the League Table but are now five points
behind Manchester United.

position for the England Under-21 team when they
play Italy U-21 in Monza tonight. Matthew Upson
should also be in the starting line-up but Paolo

Beaten In Ukraine !
Ashley Cole
featured alongside several of Arsenal's big name players
in tonight's Champions League game against Shakhtar Donetsk.
Arsenal had been cleared by UEFA to field an under-strength
team as they had already secured their qualification to
the next stage of the competition but Arsene Wenger surprised
many observers with the inclusion of many of his leading
lights. Cole played for the full 90-minutes, but picked
up a Yellow Card along the way, as Arsenal went down 3-0
to the Ukranian team. It was their first defeat of their
current Champions League campaign, though Arsenal still
finished top of their Group table.
