Everton
2-0 Arsenal !
Lee Dixon
played the first 78-minutes of the match as an under-strength
Arsenal were comprehensively beaten 2-0 by Everton
in their Premiership clash at Goodison Park, ending
Arsenal's unbeaten Premiership run of 12-games.
Dixon was lucky to escape a Yellow Card on several
occassions, notably two heavy handed tackles on
Tal, though he did eventually go into the book for
a challenge on the Israeli midfielder. Dixon was
eventually replaced by Matthew Upson because of
an injury caused by a reckless two-footed challenge
from Everton youngster McLeod, only a minute after
he had came onto the pitch. Arsenal found it hard
to get into the game and suffered their first ever
Premiership defeat at Goodison. Arsenal remain in
second place in the League Table but are now five
points behind Manchester United. LIVE

Arsenal
Held In Bore-Draw !
Lee Dixon
came on as a 62nd minute replacement for the injured
Gilles Grimandi as bottom of the table Derby County
held Arsenal to a goal-less draw
at Highbury this afternoon. It was probably Arsenal's
sloppiest performance so far this season and Derby
had the best of the chances with Dixon being badly
outpaced on one occassion that almost let Derby through.

May Be Rested!
Oleg Luzhny
could replace Lee Dixon for tomorrow's Premiership home
game against bottom of the league Derby County as Dixon
made the trip to the Ukraine in midweek.
A return for Tony Adams is also on hold but Arsenal
could well be at nearly full-strength as goalkeeper
David Seaman has every chance of recovering from his
shoulder injury.

Beaten In Ukraine !
Several of Arsenal's
big name players, including Lee Dixon, featured in tonight's
Champions League game against Shakhtar Donetsk. Arsenal
had been cleared by UEFA to field an under-strength team
as they had already secured their qualification to the
next stage of the competition but Arsene Wenger surprised
many observers with the inclusion of many of his leading
lights. Dixon played for the full 90-minutes as Arsenal
went down 3-0 to the Ukranian team, their first defeat
of their current Champions League campaign, though Arsenal
still finished top of their Group table.
