Henry Keeps His Place As Arsenal Are Beaten !
Thierry Henry kept his place in the Arsenal first team as they went down 1-0 to Leeds United at Elland Road yesterday. Henry received a Yellow Card as The Gunners had seven players booked along the way and manager Arsene Wenger was restrained from reaching the match referee Dermot Gallagher at the end of the game. Henry's pace had appeared to cause Leeds some early problems in the game but he soon drifted out of the match.

Spartak Moscow 4-1 Arsenal !
Thierry Henry returned to Champions League action in Moscow tonight as Arsenal were thrashed 4-1 by Spartak Moscow despite taking a lead in just the second minute of the game. Arsenal under-performed throughout though Henry worked hard in the centre and on the left, without ever proving to be decisive, though he did set-up the opening goal for Silvinho in the second minute of the game. Henry's pace on the counter-attack was always a threat to Spartak, but he was caught offside on just too many occassions for it to ever be vital.

Henry Recovers !
Arsenal expect to have Thierry Henry back from injury in time for Wednesday's Champions League trip to Russia to play Spartak Moscow. Henry missed Saturday's defeat at Everton after picking up a groin strain whilst on international duty, which forced him to pull out of last week's Turkey -v- France game, but appears to be a certain starter in this vital game.

Arsenal Held In Bore-Draw !
Thierry Henry played for the full 90-minutes as bottom of the table Derby County held Arsenal to a goal-less draw at Highbury this afternoon. It was probably Arsenal's sloppiest performance so far this season and Derby had the best of the chances. Henry missed Arsenal's only real chance of the game when he shot wide after Wiltord had played him through. He then took too long in controlling the ball inside the Derby box and allowed Mart Poom to block his shot. Henry looked an increasingly dejected figure under the constant drizzle as the game progressed and appeared out-of-sorts throughout, failing to hit the target in seven attempts on goal. Arsenal Beaten In Ukraine !
Several of Arsenal's big name players, including Thierry Henry, featured in tonight's Champions League game against Shakhtar Donetsk. Arsenal had been cleared by UEFA to field an under-strength team as they had already secured their qualification to the next stage of the competition but Arsene Wenger surprised many observers with the inclusion of many of his leading lights. Early in the second half, with the Ukranian's leading 1-0, Henry combined well with Sylvain Wiltord but an offside was given as Henry rounded the Ukranian keeper and slipped the ball into the empty net. Henry was replaced by Fredrik Ljungberg after 62-minutes as Arsenal went down 3-0 to the Ukranian team. It was their first defeat of their current Champions League campaign, though Arsenal still finished top of their Group table.
