Oleg
Luzhny played the full 90-minutes of the match as
an under-strength Arsenal were comprehensively beaten
2-0 by Everton in their Premiership clash at Goodison
Park, ending Arsenal's unbeaten Premiership run
of 12-games. Luzhny had a proverbial 'stinker' and
could possibly be faulted for both of Everton's
goals as Arsenal found it hard to get into the game
and suffered their first ever Premiership defeat
at Goodison. Arsenal remain in second place in the
League Table but are now five points behind Manchester
United. LIVE

bottom of the league Derby County and Arsenal could
well be at nearly full-strength. Luzhny could replace
Lee Dixon, who made the trip to the Ukraine in midweek

Oleg Luzhny
was rested from the Arsenal squad as they went down 3-0
to the Shakhtar Donesk in tonight's Champions League game
in the Ukraine, their first defeat of their current Champions
League campaign, though Arsenal still finished top of
their Group table. Arsenal had been cleared by UEFA to
field an under-strength team as they had already secured
their qualification to the next stage of the competition
but Arsene Wenger surprised many observers with the inclusion
of many of his leading lights.
