Keeps His Place As Arsenal Are
Beaten !
Robert Pires kept his place in
the Arsenal first team as they
went down 1-0 to Leeds United
at Elland Road yesterday.
The
Gunners had seven players booked
along the way and manager Arsene
Wenger was restrained from reaching
the match referee Dermot Gallagher
at the end of the game. Pires
was involved in an incident with
Leeds' coach David O'Leary in
the tunnel at the end of the game
and was incensed at what he believes
were insulting gestures made by
O'Leary towards him. The FA are
believed to be looking into the
incident. LIVE
