Silvinho Keeps His Place As Arsenal Are Beaten !
Silvinho kept his place in the Arsenal first team as they went down 1-0 to Leeds United at Elland Road yesterday. Silvinho received a Yellow Card as The Gunners had seven players booked along the way and manager Arsene Wenger was restrained from reaching the match referee Dermot Gallagher at the end of the game. Silvinho almost managed to give Arsenal the lead around the half-hour mark, when Robinson could only parry his shot back to the Brazilian who set up Wiltord for a great chance only to see the Frenchman waste his shot with a poor effort. Silvinho then had a chance to equalise late in the game when his strike from 25-yards out was acrobatically saved by Robinson in the Leeds' goal.
