Beaten In Ukraine !
Nelson Vivas
featured from the kick-off in tonight's Champions League
game against Shakhtar Donetsk. Arsenal had been cleared
by UEFA to field an under-strength team as they had already
secured their qualification to the next stage of the competition
but Arsene Wenger surprised many observers with the inclusion
of many of his leading lights. Vivas played for the full
90-minutes as Arsenal went down 3-0 to the Ukranian team,
their first defeat of their current Champions League campaign,
though Arsenal still finished top of their Group table.
