 Jaime Gonzalez came on as a substitute at half-time and scored twice as Bari won their first pre-season friendly game today, beating a representative side from Mezzano di Primiero 14-0.

 Gonzales has already earned himself the nickname of 'Speedy Gonzales' after demonstrating his amazing speed in training. Speed tests carried out by Fiorillo, Bari's athletic coach, in showed that he was by far the quickest player in the Bari squad and his alacrity has greatly impressed his new team-mates

 
Summer 2000

 Chilean Jaimi Gonzalez is in training with Bari at their training camp in Mezzano having arrived from Colo Colo. Bari are due to play a pre-season friendly against a representative squad from del Primiero on the 22nd July.

Gonzalez is expected to start the coming season from the substitutes bench
