  28.02.02 - ATALANTA TRAINING - Today the Atalanta squad undertook their final training session before leaving for Udine, where they face Udinese on Sunday at the Fruili Stadium.
  28.02.02 - BOLOGNA TRAINING - Bologna won today's friendly game against the amateurs of Felsina San Lorenzo 10-0. Guidolin used the game to experiment with his formations, using Bellucci, Della Rocca and Signori as a 'trident' at one stage. Valdo Smit opened the scoring after just a few minutes before Della Rocca scored, two goals from Bellucci made the half-time score 4-0. Signori sat out the second half of the game, where Cruz scored twice and Carlo Nervo scored four times. Signori is not expected to make the starting eleven for Sunday's game with Torino.
  28.02.02 - BRESCIA TRAINING - The Brescia squad undertook another training session where Baggio, Guardiola and Bachini all took part in some exercises, though all three are on seperate training regimes from the other squad members. Carlo Mazzone has the rest of his entire squad at his disposal. Luca Toni missed today's session because of his hand injury but he is expected to attend Friday's training.
  28.02.02 - CHIEVO TRAINING - Chievo won today's friendly against Casaleone 6-0, Corini scored a penalty, Cossato scored twice, Beghetto, Mayele and D'Anna scored one each. Grillon was once again missing from today's training session.
  28.02.02 - FIORENTINA TRAINING - Vanoli's season appears to be over, he's torn a muscle in his left calf.
  28.02.02 - JUVENTUS TRAINING - Following last night's Champions League defeat the Juventus squad were back in training this afternoon. Those players who took part in last night's game only undertook some light exercises, the rest of the squad trained normally.
  28.02.02 - LAZIO TRAINING - The Lazio squad unertook a small 'in-house' practice match at today's training session. Peruzzi, Giannichedda, Poborsky, Lopez and Stankovic were all missing but of these only Stankovic is 'doubtful' for Sunday's game.
  28.02.02 - LECCE TRAINING - The Lecce squad took part in some tactical training this morning, followed in the afternoon by a friendly game against a local team of amateurs from Via del Mar, where they ran out 4-0 winners. Cimirotic, Piangarelli, Bojinov and Pivotto scoring the goals. Giacomazzi and Chevanton both played part of the match, Chimenti missed the game, though this was just a precautionary measure, Giorgetti is still missing through injury. Biliotti and Popescu were both missing with back problems. Popescu is 'doubtful' for Sunday's game with Roma, he could be replaced by Malusci. There's another training session planned for Friday afternoon.
  28.02.02 - PERUGIA TRAINING - Perugia won today's friendly game at Trevi 8-0. Bazzani scored twice, Tedesco, Gatti, Ahn, Samereh and Berretoni all scored one each, the other goal came from an own goal. Tedesco was forced out of the game with some muscle problems at one point, but it shouldn't stop him being available for Sunday's game. Fabian O'Neill missed the game, he's been back to some hard training this week and was given the day off in order to rest.
  28.02.02 - PIACENZA TRAINING - Novellino has the entire Piacenza squad at his disposal for Sunday's game. He may choose to play Paolo Poggi alongside Dario Hubner from the start, De Francesco is available again after missing last week's game through disqualification, Lamacchi and Boselli are likely to be the central defenders.
  28.02.02 - ROMA TRAINING - Capello will wait until the very last moment before deciding on whether or not to include Emerson in the squad for the trip to Lecce, the midifelder missed today's training session. His swollen ankle is reportedly getting better, even though it is still causing some pain. Assuncao has returned to full training with the rest of the squad and is available for selection again. Zebina and Cassano missed part of today's training session to undergo some medical examinations but neither player has any injuries.
  28.02.02 - TORINO TRAINING - An injury crisis at Torino has meant that three Primavera players have had to be called up to the first team squad. Scarchillihas added to the crisis by picking up a thigh injury. Vergassola and Fattori only managed to take part in some of today's training session, neither player is available for Sunday.
  28.02.02 - VENEZIA TRAINING - Venezia ran out 8-0 winners when they played a friendly game against their Primavera squad today. In the first half Maniero scored a penalty, Magallanes added another. Di Napoli and Valtolina both scored twice in the second-half with Vannucchi and Donnet scoring one each. Pablo Garcia missed the game, he's still suffering from a high temperature. Bettarini was missing with gastro-enteritis. A scan on Rukavina's injury has revealed that the 'tear' is healing well but he's going to be unavailable for a few more days. There's another training session planned for tomorrow afternoon.
  28.02.02 - VERONA TRAINING - Verona won today's friendly game against Ala di Trento 3-1, with Gilardino, Teodarani and Frick scoring the goals. Dainelli took part in today's game after recovering from an attack of the 'flu. Leonardo Colucci, Giuseppe Colucci, Filippini, Seric and Camoranesi all missed today's game, none of the five are available for Sunday.
