- LAZIO 1-1- MILAN - An late equaliser from
Andrei Shevchenko enabled Milan to steal a point
from their trip to the Stadio Olimpico tonight.
Dejan Stankovic gave Lazio a first half lead
before the home side were reduced to 10-men
with the dismissal of Fernando Couto in the
78th minute. This gave Milan a ray of home and
an equaliser in the 94th minute left the two

a setback today when they had to fight back
from lightening strikes by Domenico Morfeo and
Adriano which left them two goals down within
the first 20-minutes. Second half goals from
Antonio Cassano and Emerson levelled the tie
at 2-2 to leave Roma 1-point clear at the top

- JUVENTUS 3-0 LECCE - Juventus were never in
any real danger of dropping any points today
as they strolled to a comfortable 3-0 home win
over Lecce. Antonio Conte opened the scoring
for the home side after just 14-minutes,
Trezeguet and Del Piero added the others before
the hour mark, Del Piero's goal coming from
the now obligatory controversial Juve penalty
. The result leaves Juventus just one point

- PIACENZA 2-2 CHIEVO - Chievo were held to
a 2-2 draw at Piacenza today, in a game where
the advange swung between the two teams throughout
the afternoon. Marazzina gave the visitors an
early lead but a penalty conversion by Dario
Hubner, right on the stroke of half-time, levelled
the tie. De Francesco then gave the hosts the
advantage before a late strike from Cossatto
meant the game finished at 2-2.
Chievo's Eugenio Corini went from hero to zero
as he missed two penalties during the course

their way back from being a goal down in order
to escape from today's game with bottom club
Venezia with a single point.

hour-mark, heading home from a corner just four

the third. Brescia's prolific striker Luca Toni
got a consolation goal from the penalty spot

of form continued today as they ran out comfortable
3-1 winners over Atalanta at the Bentigodi stadium.
Italiano gave them an early lead, their other
two goals both came from the penalty spot, Adrian
Mutu converted the first, Massimo Oddo the second.
Cristiano Doni scored Atalanta's only goal of
the game. Atalanta goalkeeper Massimo Taibi
didn't come out for the second half and the
visitors then had captain Massimo Carrera sent

tworld football were on display as two mid-table
sides played out a goalless draw at the Fruili
Stadium today, leaving both sides comfortably
