  05.02.02 - BAGGIO OUT FOR THE SEASON - Roberto Baggio has undergone an operation to reconstruct the cruciate ligaments in his left knee. Doctor's are optomistic tha the will be able to make a full recovery within 3-months but he will miss the rest of the season. His dreams of appearing in a fourth consecutive World Cup are over, but last night he issued a statement of his intent to return to football after press reports suggested that he would retire. Baggio has gone to Bologna in order to recuperate.

  04.02.02 - ATALANTA TRAINING - The Atalanta squad are expected to return to training on Tuesday afternoon where the condition of Bellini will be assessed. He's expected to be available for next week's local 'derby' game against Brescia. Massimo Taibi will also be examined after the cut to his head during which forced him out of Sunday's game at half-time.
  04.02.02 - BOLOGNA TRAINING - The Bologna squad are expected to return to training on Tuesday. Brighi, Castellini and Nervo will all be available for next Sunday's game against Inter and Beppe Signori still has a chance of recovering in time. Locatelli is expectred to resume training with the rest of the squad but isn't expected to be available for a few weeks.
  04.02.02 - BRESCIA TRAINING - The Brescia squad are expected to return to the training ground on Tuesday in order to prepare for their Coppa Italia Semi-Final 2nd Leg game against Parma. Bonera, Petruzzi and Sussi, who were all disqualified from theSerie-A game against Parma, wil be available for next weekend's local 'derby' with Atalanta.
  04.02.02 - CHIEVO TRAINING - The Chievo squad are expected to return to training on Tuesday in order to prepare for next Saturday evening's game against Udinese after taking Monday off in order to rest.
  04.02.02 - FIORENTINA TRAINING - Vanoli wil be out of action for the next two week's after pulling a thigh muscle during Sunday's game against Roma. Cois and Baronio are both doubtful for next week's game against Venezia but Adani and Tarozzi will both be available. Fiorentina have a friendly game agasint an Austrian side planned for Thursday afternoon.
  04.02.02 - RONALDO TRAINING - Ronaldo is back in Brazil after having a tooth out and is training on his own, running on the beach at Barra de Tijuca.
  04.02.02 - JUVENTUS TRAINING - Igor Tudor has received another setback as he attempts to recover from injury. The Croatian defender 'knocked' his ankle during a small practice match and will have to wait for a few days before returning to training with the rest of the Juve squad. Amoruso will miss this week's Coppa Italia Semi-Final 2nd Leg game with Milan.
  04.02.02 - LAZIO TRAINING - The Lazio squad are expected to return to training on Tuesday afternoon after taking Monday off in order to rest. Fiore received an injury to his left knee during Sunday night's game with Milan and his condition will have to be assessed. Both Alessandro Nesta and Hernan Crespo are set to return to the starting eleven for next weekend's game against Parma.
  04.02.02 - LECCE TRAINING - The Lecce squad are expected to return to training on Tuesday afternoon after taking Monday off in order to rest. Cimirotic is still sufffering from an achilles problem and Giorgetti has a slight calf injury, the condition of both players will have to be assessed. Juarez took a 'knock' to his right ankle during Sunday's game with Juventus but has a chance of being available for next weekend's game with Verona, Popescu is also set to return, but Balleri will be disqualified.
  04.02.02 - MILAN TRAINING - Andrei Shevchenko is suffering from 'flu and is likely to miss Wednesday's Coppa Italia Semi-Final 2nd Leg game against Juventus. Ambrosini wil be available but Rui Costa isn't expected back until the weekend's game with Perugia. Ibrahim Ba returned to training with the rest of the squad for the first time since his return from Marseilles. Jose Mari is due to have his injury assessed, he could be almost ready for a return.
  04.02.02 - PARMA TRAINING - The Parma squad took a training session today in order to prepare for this week's Coppa Italia Semi-Final 2nd Leg game with Brescia. Appiah, Grieco and Sensini all trainined seperately from the others but all three have a chance of playing in the Coppa Italia game. Marchionni and Ferrari were both missing.
  04.02.02 - PERUGIA TRAINING - Tedesco was forced to leave the field with a reccurance of his muscle trouble during Sunday's game with Udinese, he's doubtful for next wwekend's game against MIlan, his condition will have to be assessed. Fabian O'Neill is stil suffering from some muscle problems.
  04.02.02 - PIACENZA TRAINING - The Piacenza squad are expected to return to training on Tuesday afternoon after taking Monday off in order to rest. Statuto is expected back for next Sunday's game with Torino but Gautieri will be disqualified. Sacchetti still has a chance of being available.
  04.02.02 - ROMA TRAINING - The Roma squad are expected to return to training on Tuesday morning after taking Monday off in order to rest but Cafu and Assuncao did take part in some exercises today. Cafu underwent some physiotherapy and then went swimming. Antonio Cassano picked up an ankle injury during Sunday's game with Fiorentina and his condition will have to be assessed.
  04.02.02 - TORINO TRAINING - The Torino squad are expected to return to training on Tuesday afternoon after taking Monday off in order to rest. Both Vergassola and Comotto wil miss next weekend's game with Piacenza through disqualification. De Ascentis might be included in the starting line-up.
  04.02.02 - UDINESE TRAINING - Those members of the Udinese squadwho didn't play in yesterday's game all took part in a training session today with Alberto and Sosa both taking part. Both players are expected to return to training with the other members of the squad tomorrow. There are two training sessions planned for Wednesday and then a friendly game against the Primavera squad on Thursday. The squad will leave for Verona on Friday morning.
  04.02.02 - VENEZIA TRAINING - The Venezia squad are expected to return to training on Tuesday afternoon after taking Monday off in order to rest. Bettarini will be disqualified for next weekend's game against Fiorentina after picking up his eighth Yellow Card of the season, Cvitanovic is his most likely replacement. Alberto Santana is expected to join up with his new team-mates later this week.
  04.02.02 - VERONA TRAINING - The Verona squad are expected to return to training on Tuesday afternoon after taking Monday off in order to rest. Teodorani was forced off the field during Sunday's game with a pulled muscle, his condition wil have to be assessed.
