  ITALY - Yesterday's Training

  07.03.02 - - ATALANTA TRAINING - Those players who took part in last Sunday's game against Udinese played a small practice match against some of the club's youngsters this afternoon. The rest of the squad took part in athletic exercises. There aren't expected to be many changes to the line-up for game against Lecce.

  07.03.02 - - BOLOGNA TRAINING - Giuseppe Signori turned on the style today, scoring a hat-trick during the friendly game against Castel San Pietro, demonstrating his physical well-being. He's almost certain to start in Sunday's game against Milan. Guidolin used plenty of youngsters in today's game and his side ran out 10-1 winners, Bellucci also scored a hat-trick with Goretti, Nervo, Brighi and Runstrom adding the others. Nervo appears to have recovered from his ankle injury.

  07.03.02 - - CHIEVO TRAINING - Rinaldi picked up an injury to his left knee during today's practice match, his condition will have to be assessed. Legrottaglie and D'Anna will both be unavailable for Sunday's game they're both supended.

  07.03.02 - - FIORENTINA TRAINING - This afternoon the Fiorentina squad took a training session 'behind closed doors'. Bianchi held a 20-minute team talk before a small practice match. Bianchi looks likely to keep to the same starting line-up as last week, with Adriano and Morfeo both playing from the off with Nuno Gomes on the bench.

  07.03.02 - - INTER TRAINING - The Inter squad took part in a 40-minute training session under the guidance of their athletic coach Juan Alfano before Cuper took over for some technical training. Dalmat, Emre and Farinos all took part in today's exercises and all three appear to be available for selection again. Okan and Padalino were restricted to working in the gym, Sorondo and Georgatos underwent some physiotherapy and then took part in some light running exercises.

  07.03.02 - - JUVENTUS TRAINING - Lilian Thuram didn't train with the squad today, prefering to work alone in the gym. He doesn't appear to have any real injury worries and he should be in the starting line-up for Saturday's clash with Inter.

  07.03.02 - - LAZIO TRAINING - Lazio played a small friendly game against Tor Sapienza today. Castroman was forced off the field with a slight thigh injury. Couto missed the game after complaining of a back problem, Peruzzi missed the game but trained alone. All three should be available for Sunday's clash with Roma. Gottardi apepars to have fully recovered from his injury.

  07.03.02 - - LECCE TRAINING - Lecce won today's friendly against Martano 8-0. Tonetto and Conticchio both scored twice, Vugrinec, Giacomazzi, Bojinov and Pellicori added the others. Pellicori's goal coming from the penalty spot. Popescu played for the second half of the game, Chevanton missed the game but did manage to train alone, he's doubtful for Sunday's game. The squad will leave for Bergamo on Friday morning.

  07.03.02 - - MILAN TRAINING - Serginho looks likely to be able to go on the subs bench for Sunday's clash with Bologna. Helveg is still unavailable, his injury looks likely to keep him out for at least another two weeks. Pippo Inzaghi carried out some athletic exercises and then joined in for the final part of a small practice match.

  07.03.02 - - PARMA TRAINING - Parma won today's friendly game against Casalese 13-0. Bonazzoli and Greico both scored hat-tricks, Di Vaio and Hakan Sukur scored two each, Micoud, Gurenko and Nakata added the others. Frey took the day off in order to rest and missed the game. Appiah, Bolano, Sensini and Marchionni all kept to a seperate training programme.

  07.03.02 - - PERUGIA TRAINING - Perugia won today's friendly game against Ellera 10-0. Ahn and Vryzas scored two each, O'Neill, Blasi, Bazzani, Milanese, Samereh and Tedesco added the others. Tedesco had to leave the field with some muscle problems but he should be available for Sunday's game. Sogliano picked up a slight muscle injury during the course of the game.

  07.03.02 - - PIACENZA TRAINING - Torino won today's friendly against a team of their youngster's 8-0. Caccia scored a hat-trick, Tosto Hubner and Statuto added the others, Volpi and Boselli missed the game, Volpi is hopeful of being available for Sunday's game.

  07.03.02 - - ROMA TRAINING - The Roma squad took a double training session today with a practice match in the afternoon. Capello is keeping his plans secret until the last possible moment. Emerson underwent some physiotherapy and then trained alone. Panucci and Pelizzoli both kept themselves to seperate training programmes, though all three players are available for selection for Sunday's Rome 'derby' with Lazio. Zago missed today's trainig with a leg injury. Primavera player Bovo has sufffered a serious knee injury.

  07.03.02 - - TORINO TRAINING - Lucarelli and Delli Carri both returned to training with the rest of the squad today, despite both players still having some 'flu symptoms. Brambilla has a slight injury to his left thigh and he kept himself to a seperate training programme today. Asta continued to work in the gym.

  07.03.02 - - UDINESE TRAINING - Udinese won today's friendly against Rivignano 8-0. Thorninger scored four, Marcos Paulo, Pineda, Warley and Pinzi added the others.

  07.03.02 - - VENEZIA TRAINING - Venezia played a friendly game against some of the club's youngsters today and the first team ran out 5-0 winners. Rossi and Budan both p;layed for the 'juniors'. Di Napoli scored twice in the second half, Maniero, Di Franceschi and Magallanes scored on e each in the first half. Viali and Valtolina kept themselves to a seperate training regime. Viali is suffering from a toe injury. Rukavina continued to undergo some physiotherapy.

  07.03.02 - - VERONA TRAINING - Verona won today's friendly against the amateurs of Valeggio sul Mincio 19-0. Frick scored four, Mutu scored a hat-trick, Camoranesi scored twice, he looks likley to be able to return to the starting eleven for Sunday's game. Dainelli managed to take part in today's game despite still having a slightly inflamed knee. Seric kept himself to a seperate training programme from the others. Leonardo Colucci, Giuseppe Colucci and Cossato are all still injured.
