ITALY - Yesterday's Training

08.02.02 - ATALANTA TRAINING - Zenoni, Rossini and Cavalli undertook their seperate training programmes again today. Massimo Taibi has fully recovered from his injury and it's been confirmed that he will be in the starting line-up for Sunday's 'derby' game with Brescia. Bellini still isn't a certain starter but he has a possibility of being on the bench. Ousmane Dabo has completeled his recovery but isn't set to return until next week's game with Milan. Orlandini will be available for selection again by Tuesday.

08.02.02 - BOLOGNA TRAINING - Guidolin has almost decided on who to use in Sunday's game against Inter, but there is still some doubt over Beppe Signori's availablity. Bologna's new signing Wadlo Smit is reported to have been impressive during Thursday's practice match. Goalkeeper Gianluca Pagliuca is set to make his 100th Serie-A game for Bologna during Sunday's game.

08.02.02 - BRESCIA TRAINING - Petruzzi was given today off in order to rest whilst the rest of the squad took part in a training session. There's another session planned for Saturday afternoon, where Mazzone will try out various formations before Sunday's 'derby' game against Atalanta.

08.02.02 - CHIEVO TRAINING - Luigi Del Neri has decided to use the same starting eleven that played in last week's game against Piacenza, so once again Cossato, Franceschini and Barone will be on the bench.

08.02.02 - FIORENTINA TRAINING - Adriano took part in today's training session but it's obvious that he's still suffering from some slight muscle trouble. Bianchi is facing severe problems with his midfield for Sunday's game as Amaral and Amoroso are both disqualified and Cois, Tarozzi, Baronio and Rossi are unavailable at present, though one of them may be able to recover in time.

08.02.02 - INTER TRAINING - Luigi Di Biagio is still complaining of some back problems and he was forced to stop training again today, he's now very doubtful to make the trip to Bologna for Sunday's game. Guly is his most likely replacement. Recoba is still 'doubtful' for Sunday's game. Simic and Sorondo are both competing for one available place in defence.

08.02.02 - JUVENTUS TRAINING - Conte will be avaiable for Sunday's game with Roma, he took part in some of today's training where the squad took part in a small practice match. Davids could be on the bench. Zenoni is unavailable after suffering from a severe bout of 'flu.

08.02.02 - LAZIO TRAINING - Hernan Crespo is available for Sunday's game against Parma but Stefano Fiore is still suffering from an injury to his right knee that could force him out of the squad. Simone Inzaghi has returned to training but will miss Sunday's game. Jaap Stam has had his disqualification reduced from 5-months to 4-months, he'll be available to play again from March 16th.

08.02.02 - LECCE TRAINING - The Lecce squad took another training session this afternoon where they took part in some athletic exercises. Cimirotic and Giacomazzi both took part in some of today's training, Giacomazzi could be available for Sunday's game but Giorgetti is still injured. There will be another training session tomorrow morning.

08.02.02 - MILAN TRAINING - Chamot has recovered and is available for Sunday's game against Perugia. Rui Costa trained with the rest of the squad today but he's still doubtful for Sunday's game, he'll undergo a fitness test on Saturday morning. Ambrosini and Gattuso are likely starters in the centre of the Milan midfield.

08.02.02 - PARMA TRAINING - The Parma squad have a training session planned for Saturday afternoon. Marchionni could play in Sunday's game against Lazio wearing a mask to protect the broken nose he suffered during the Coppa Italia Semi-Final against Brescia. Sensini and Hakan Sukur are both available for Sunday's game.

08.02.02 - PERUGIA TRAINING - Cosmi has confirmed that he'll be using his usual 3-5-2 formation for Perugia's game against Milan on Sunday where he plans to reintroduce Gatti to the starting line-up with Bazzani and Vryzas as twin strikers.Sogliano, Di Loreto and Rezai will be the three defenders.

08.02.02 - PIACENZA TRAINING - Gautieri is set to preplace the injured Sacchetti for Sunday's game Torino, Volpi and Matuzalem are set to start in midfield with Sommese also making the starting line-up.

08.02.02 - ROMA TRAINING - Assuncao and Cafu both trained today with Cafu undertaking a seperate programme followed by some physiotherapy, he appears to be recovering well and could make the team for Sunday's game against Juventus. The rest of the squad took part in running exercises and a few games of football-tennis.

08.02.02 - TORINO TRAINING - Torino took their final training session this afternoon before Sunday's game with Piacenza. Delli Carri received a blow to his ankle and was forced to leave the field, but it's nothing serious and he is available for Sunday's game.

08.02.02 - UDINESE TRAINING - Bertotto, Sottil, Gargo and Caballero are all unavilable for Saturday' sgame, leaving a mini-crisis in the Udinese defence. Koldrup, Scarlatti and Manfredini will play but Pierini has a foot injury and will miss the game. Jorgensen will be on the bench.

08.02.02 - VENEZIA TRAINING - Rukavina was the only player missing from today's training session, though the others only took part in a very short period of training.

08.02.02 - VERONA TRAINING - Malesani has signed an extension to his contract with Verona, keeping him at the club until the end of next season.
