  ITALY - Yesterday's Training

  11.03.02 ATALANTA TRAINING - The Atalanta squad are set to resume training at Zingonia on Tuesday afternoon, where they will begin their preperations for Saturday night's clash with Champions Roma. Cristiano Doni will be available for Saturday's game after serving a one match suspension and there are no new injury worries for Vavassori.

  11.03.02 BOLOGNA TRAINING - The Bologna squad came through Sunday's game with Milan without picking up any new injury problems. They're set to return to training on Tuesday, where Tomas Locatelli is expected to return to full training with the rest of the squad, he's been missing since September but should be avialable for the Week 28 home game with Leece. Lamberto Zauli will be available for Saturday's game with Fiorentina after serving his one match suspension.

  11.03.02 BRESCIA TRAINING - The Brescia squad are set to resume training on Tuesday afternoon at Erbusco, where the condition of Antonio Filippini will be assessed. Filippini picked up a shoulder injury during Sunday's clash with Venezia. Luca Toni will be available for Sunday's game with Lazio after serving a one match suspension. Pep Guardiola will be available for the Week 28 home game with Perugia.

  11.03.02 CHIEVO LATEST - Chievo have decided that they will vacate the Curva Sud for their Week 28 clash with city rivals Verona. The two teams share the Bentegodi Stadium and both sets of tifosi normally occupy the Curva Sud for home games. It's been decided that in the future when the two teams clash the Chievo ultras will occupy the Curva Nord.

  11.03.02 FIORENTINA TRAINING - The Fiorentina squad have been given Monday off in order to rest, they'll return to training on Tuesday morning.

  11.03.02 INTER TRAINING - The Inter players returned to training today after taking Sunday off in order to rest following a hard-fought 'Derby of Italy' on Saturday night. The three goalkeepers, Toldo, Fontana and Moreau, all trainied seperately under the guidance of Mario Gomez. Those players who were missing from Saturday's game trained under the supervision of Juan Manuel Alfano. The others carried out a light training programme before everybody took part in a small 'in-house' practice match.

  11.03.02 JUVENTUS TRAINING - The Juventus squad have safely arrived in Germany for their Champions League clash with Bayer Leverkusen. They undertook a training session this afternoon. Alessandro Del Piero picked up an injury to his left ankle during Saturday night's game and he hasn't made the trip , he underwent some physiotherapy back in Turin and his condition wil be re-assessed on Wednesday. A decision on David Trezeguet's participation in Tuesday's match won't be made until the very last moment. He underwent a scan before leaving for Germany and it revealed some slight inflammation in his left knee.

  11.03.02 LAZIO TRAINING - The Lazio squad took Monday off in order to rest, they're set to resume training on Tuesday, where the respective conditions of Negro and Favalli wil be assessed. Both players are likely to be available for Sunday's clash with Brescia, the same game where Dutch defender Jaap Stam is on course for his comeback, his suspension for nandrolone abuse is set to end on Saturday.

  11.03.02 LECCE TRAINING - The Lecce squad are set to resume training at Calimera on Tuesday morning where the conditiion of Cimirotic will be assessed. He picked up an injury to his right calf during Sunday's game with Atalanta. Giorgetti is set to return to the starting eleven for next week's game with Inter, he's missed the last 3-weeks with an injury to his left calf.

  11.03.02 MILAN TRAINING - The MIlan squad took part in a small 'in-house' practice match today where Pippo Inzaghi scored a goal, he has a slight chance of being available for Sunday night's game against Torino. Ambrosini and Serginho are both progressing well and could also be available. Maldini and Helveg both kept themselves to seperate training programmes as they bid to recover from their respective iunjuries.

  11.03.02 PARMA TRAINING - Following yesterday's defeat at Verona the Parma squad found themselves back in training again this morning. Frey and Diana missed today's session, Diana is experiencing some muscle problems in his back and he'll be forced to rest for a few days. The full extent of Frey's injury isn't yet known. Luigi Sartor has every chance of being available for Wednesday's re-scheduled game with Chievo.

  11.03.02 PERUGIA TRAINING - Rahaman Rezaei experienced some muscle problems during Sunday's game with Piacenza, which forced him to be substituted, his condition will have to be assessed. Apart from that Cosmi has no new injury problems to his team.
  11.03.02 PIACENZA TRAINING - The Piacenza squad are set to return to training on Tuesday where they will begin to prepare for Sunday's clash with Udinese. Volpi and Matuzalem will both be disqualified for the game. Boselli was foced to miss last weekend's game after suffering from some knee problems, his condition will have to be assessed.

  11.03.02 ROMA TRAINING - The Roma squad returned to training today where they began their preperations for Wednesday night's Champions League clash with Galatasaray. Those players who tok part in last night's 'derby' only carried out some light training today. Batistuta only managed to take part in some of today's training programme but he is available for Wednesday's game. Totti is suffering from some muscle fatigue, Emerson still has an ankle injury, but they are also both available. Cafu remains 'doubtful' he's suffering from a slight injury to his right ankle.

  11.03.02 TORINO TRAINING - Asta, Scarchilli and Franco are all hopeful of being available for Sunday night's clash with Milan. Mezzano will be available again after serving a one match ban.

  11.03.02 UDINESE TRAINING - Scarlato has picked up an injury to his left knee and has undergone a scan. Udinese will play a friendly game on Wednesday agains Swedish side AIK, but they're likley to field quite a few of their Primavera players for the game. The following day there will be a friendly against Spal Cordovad at the Fruili Stadium.

  11.03.02 VENEZIA TRAINING - The Venezia squad are set to return to training on Tuesday afternoon, where Magni expects to have the entire squad a this disposal. Antonio Marasco will miss next week's game agaisnt Juventus after he picked up a Yellow Card for encroaching at a free-kick during Sunday's game with Brescia. De Franceschi has been put on the 'diffidati' warning list.

  11.03.02 VERONA TRAINING - The Verona squad are set to return to training tomorrow where the respective conditions of Cossato and Adailton will be assessed. Cossato has been suffering from 'flu, Adailton has been suffering from some muscle trouble. Bad news for Mario Frick, he underwent an operation on his damaged ligaments this morning. Teodarani, on the other hand, appears to have recovered from the injury that forced him off the field during Sunday's game.
