ITALY - Yesterday's Training

14.02.02 - ATALANTA TRAINING - Comandini has resumed full training with the rest of the Atalanta squad, he's available for Saturday's game with Milan. Zenoni, Rossini and Paganin are all unavailable,. Zenoni and Rossini both took part in some training today but Paganin missed the session. Doni has returned to the squad following Wednesday night's appearance for the Azzuri in the game against the USA. Fabiano and Maraschi have both been drafted into the Primavera squad for Saturday's game. There's another training session planned for Friday before the team leave for Milan.

14.02.02 - BOLOGNA TRAINING - Today's friendly game against Odense ended in a 2-2 draw, thanks to goals from Bellucci and Nervo, with Bologna twice coming from behind. Guidolin used the game to experiment with his team, using Signori in the first half and Olive in the second half. Olive appears to have fully recovered from the injury he received during the game against Parma and both players could go on the subs bench for Sunday's game. Cruz and Wome both returned to training today after their appearances with their respective national squads, but they kept to a seperate training regime from the others. Both players are set to return to training with the rest of the squad tomorrow.

14.02.02 - BRESCIA TRAINING - The Brescia squad have a training seession planned for tomorrow (Friday) where both Igli Tare and Marek Kozminski are both set to return to the squad following this week's internationals call-ups.

14.02.02 - CHIEVO TRAINING - Marazzina returned to training with the rest of the Chievo squad today following his debut Azzuri appearance on Wednesday night. Lupatelli continued to train alone as he is still suffering from the muscle problems that forced him off the field during last Saturday's game with Udinese.

14.02.02 - FIORENTINA TRAINING - Gonzales returned to full training with the rest of the Fiorentina squad as they undertook another training session today. Agostini and Baronio both continued to train alone, Vanoli and Adani were both still missing with injuries.

14.02.02 - INTER TRAINING - The Inter squad took another training session today, with athletic exercises followed by a small in- house' practice match which was played during a thunderstorm. Those players who were convened for this week's internationals only took part in some of today's session, Gresko, Okan and Emre missed today's 'game', Dalmat and Padalino didn't train today.

14.02.02 - JUVENTUS TRAINING - The Juventus squad took another training session today. Those players who were convened for this week's internationals only took part in some of today's session, Enzo Maresca appears to have fully recovered from the ankle injury that forced him off the field during the Azzurini Under-21 game on Tuesday evening. Birindelli confined himself to working in the gym after picking up an ankle injury during training. Lippi still has to decide between Davids and Tacchinardi for Saturday's game with Fiorentina, Tudor and Amoruso are unavailable through injury, Iuliano is disqualified.

14.02.02 - LAZIO TRAINING - Fabio Liverani only took part in some of today's training session after complaining of some muscle trouble. Crespo also missed some of today's training, though this was just a precautionary measure. Simeone, Fiore and Negro all continued on seperate training programmes as they bid to recover from their respective injuries.

14.02.02 - LECCE TRAINING - Lecce could only manage a 2-0 win over a team of Students in today's friendly game, with Bilioti and Pellicori scoring the goals, Pellicori's goal coming from the penalty spot. Superbi, Malusci and Cimirotic all took part in the game, replacing Piangarelli, Popescu and Vugrinec. Popescu and Vugrinec only returned to Lecce late in the evening, following their appearances with their respective national squads. There's another training session planned for Friday morning before the team leave for Perugia.

14.02.02 - MILAN TRAINING - Thomas Helveg appears to be recovering well but he will miss Saturday night's game with Atalanta.

14.02.02 - PARMA TRAINING - The Parma squad undertook another training session today where in the afternoon they held a small practice match against their Primavera squad. Cannavaro, Di Vaio, Sartor, Boghossian and Frey have all returned to the squad following their appearances with their respective national teams in Wednesday's internationals. A scan on Almeyda's injury has found some tendon damage, he'll be forced to miss the next three games at least.

14.02.02 - PERUGIA TRAINING - Perugia won today's friendly game 9-0 with Bazzani scoring a hat-trick, Berrettoni scoring twice, Grosso, Fusani, Rezei, Samereh, Soncin and Vryzas adding the others. Vryzas' goal came from the penalty spot and the ninth and final goal was an 'own-goal'. Cosmi still has some decisions to make before Sunday with Fusani, Ahn and Obodo all competing for a place in the midfield, and Di Loreto, Rezaei. Milanese and Samuel competing for places in the defence.

14.02.02 - PIACENZA TRAINING - Piacenza won today's friendly against their Primavera squad 8-0 with Hubner scoring a hat-trick, Caccia and Amauri scoring two each and Gautieri adding the other goal. Statuto had an argument with coach Walter Novellino and left the field.

14.02.02 - ROMA TRAINING - The Roma squad took part in a small 'in-house' practice match today. Totti took part with the others though Panucci was missing, he's suffering from an injury that he picked up during Wednesday's International match. Balbo was forced to stop training after picking up a slight injury. Assuncao continued to train alone as he attempts to recover from his injury. Candela and Tommasi both undertook seperate training regimes from the others. Pelizzoli confined himself to working in the gym. Guigou is expected back in Rome on Friday following his call-up to the Uruguayan national squad.

14.02.02 - TORINO TRAINING - Asta returned to training today following Wednesday's international debut with he Azzuri, but he was kept to a seperate training regime along with Franco and Scarchilli.

14.02.02 - UDINESE TRAINING - Udinese won today's friendly againt Palmanova 5-0. Muzzi scored twice, Pinzi, Warley and Thorninger added the others. PIneda, Jorgensen and Di Michele took part in some of today's training but Gargo was missing after being given the day off in order to rest.

14.02.02 - VENEZIA TRAINING - The Venezia squad took part in a small' in-house' practice match today. Andersson has returned to the squad following his trip to Greece with the Swedish national squad. Donnet worked in the gym today, Budan kept himself to a seperate training regime, Rukavina underwent some more physiotherapy. Pablo Garcia isn't expected back from his call-up to the Uruguayan national squad until Friday afternoon. Oliver Ongfiang has been called up to the first team squad from the Primavera team and he trainined with them for the first time.

14.02.02 - VERONA TRAINING - Verona won today's friendly game against the amateurs of Bussolengo 7-1 with Montano scoring twice. Leonardo Colucci, Gonnella, Salvetti and Seric will all miss Sunday's game against Inter. Teodorani is likely to replace Seric
