ITALY - Yesterday's Training

16.02.02 - BOLOGNA LATEST - This afternoon the Bologna squad left for Udine. Before leaving Francesco Guidolin confirmed that both Beppe Signori and Renato Olive will both start Sunday's game from the subs bench, though he intends to introduce both players at some point in the game. Salvatore Fresi has travelled with the squad despite still suffering from some muscular trouble, he'll have to pass a fitness test beofre Sunday's game . Falcone could be slotted into the centre of defense with Zaccardo playing at right-back.

16.02.02 - BRESCIA LATEST - The Brescia squad undertook their last training session before Sunday's game with Roma 'behind closed doors', but Mazzone has already decided to put Schopp, Binotto and Tare on the subs bench. Jonathan Bachini has returned to Brescia from Chicago, where he has been undergoing treatment for his hepatitis, he should be able to return to training but he'll have to go back to America in about one month's time in order to undergo some further treatment.

16.02.02 - INTER LATEST - Hector Cuper has still to decide between using either Clarence Seedorf or Sergio Conceicao in the starting line-up for Sunday's game. Vieri and Materazzi have both fully recovered from slight injuries picked up in midweek, and should both feature, Guly may play on the left flank with Alvaro Recoba being used as a second striker alongside Cristian Vieri.

16.02.02 - LAZIO LATEST - Cesar has picked up an injury folowing a clash in training with Simone Inzaghi, he'll be out of action for about one month as a result of the incident. Lucas Castroman is carrying an injury to his right thigh, Stankovic only took part in some of today's training session but he is available for Sunday's game with Chievo.

16.02.02 - LECCE LATEST - Rossi has confirmed that he'll be using Juarez and Stovini as full-backs for tomorrow's game with Perugia, with Popescu in the centre of defence. Cirillo and Tonetto will play on the flanks in midfield, Chevanton and Vugrinec will be used as 'twin' strikers.

16.02.02 - PARMA LATEST - Hakan Sukur has fully recovered from his injury and he'll start tomorrow's game, playing up-front alongside Marco Di Vaio. Sensini should also make the starting line-up, playing alongside Cannavaro and Djetou in the Parma defence. Boghossian and Lamouchchi wil be in the midfield but Nakata will once again be on the bench, though he is likley to feature at some point in the game. Carmignani has indicated that he will be rotating the squad because of next week's Uefa Cup clash with Hapoel Tel Aviv.

16.02.02 - PERUGIA LATEST - Giovanni Tedesco has declared himself to be fit and well and available for selection, so Cosmi has included him in the squad for Sunday's game with Lecce. Fabian O'Neil has also been included in the squad but he's expected to stay on the bench.

16.02.02 - PIACENZA LATEST - Statuto has been omitted from the Piacenza squad for Sunday's game following his training ground argument with coach Walter Novellino, though Novellino would not be drawn to speak about the issue, prefering to concentrate on the game itself. Abbate and Liverani have both been called up to the first team squad from the Primavera team.

16.02.02 - ROMA LATEST - With the prosepect of four games within the next nine days Fabio Capello has indicated that he'll be forced into using some heavy squad rotation, and he may leave out some important players for Sunday's game with Brescia. During today's training session Capello experimented with playing Montella alongside Batistuta and then Delvecchio alongside Totti. Walter Samuel will probably be rested for Sunday with Aldair taking his place, Zebina will miss the game, Panucchi has only a slight chance of playing. Lima and Tommasi are both competing for the one available place left in midfield, with Lima the favourite to start following his great performance in last week's game with Juventus.

16.02.02 - TORINO LATEST - Scarchilli will miss Sunday's game as he still isn't 100% fit but De Ascentis should be included in the squad. Franco's knee injury means that space will be made for the youngster Quagliarella.

16.02.02 - UDINESE LATEST - The Udinese squad took part in another training session during a heavy rainfall today. Di Michele took part in today's session but his place in Sunday's starting line-up is still likely to be taken by Iaquinta. Pieri should start in preference to Pineda, Manfredini should start in place of Caballero. Morgan De Sanctis will keep goal in place of the disqualified Luigi Turci with Renard being called to the subs bench.

16.02.02 - VENEZIA LATEST - The Venezia squad continued to prepare for Sunday's game. Andersson should be back in the starting line-up in place of Pablo Garcia as Garcia only returned from South America on Friday afternoon. Bettarini should make the starting line up but Valtolina will probably miss the game, Budan and Rukavina haven't been called to the squad.

16.02.02 - VERONA LATEST - Verona will be forced to make several changes for Sunday's game with Inter as they attempt to increase their home run to six consecutive victories. Paolo Cannavaro should replace Gonnella, Giuseppi Colucci will replace Leonardo Colucci, Teodorani will replace Seric, Castelli should replace Camoranesi.
