  ITALY - Yesterday's Training
  25.01.02 - ATALANTA TRAINING - A final decision on Luigi Sala's fitness and availablity will be made on Saturday morning, he still has a slight chance of being available for Sunday's game against Fiorentina. Orlandini and Bellini both took part in some of today's training programme with Dabo, Zenoni and Rossini still receiving treatment at the club's medical centre.
  25.01.02 - BRESCIA TRAINING - 18 players have been called into the squad for the trip to Lecce with Marek Kozminski included in the party. The squad will leave on Saturday morning but Salgado and Caracciolo have not been included.

  25.01.02 - CHIEVO TRAINING - Federico Cossato has resumed training with the rest of the Chievo squad and could be available for Sunday's game.

  25.01.02 - FIORENTINA TRAINING - Pierini has fully recovered from his injury and could be in the squad for Sunday's game with Atalanta. Moretti and Di Livio have both resumed full training with the rest of the squad but Amoroso is keeping to a seperate traing regime.

  25.01.02 - INTER TRAINING - The Inter squad took their final training session in Majorca, spending an hour in the gym, followed by some technical training and finishing with a small practice match.

  25.01.02 - JUVENTUS TRAINING - Igor Tudor has returned to training and took part in some of today's (Friday) exercises. Marcello Lippi has yet to decide whether to use Conte or Zambrotta and Ferrara or Montero for his starting eleven in the game against Chievo.

  25.01.02 - LAZIO TRAINING - Alessandro Nesta has returned to training with the rest of the Lazio squad. Simone Inzaghi remains doubtful for Sunday's game and Peruzzi has picked up a slight injury to his left knee, but he will be in the starting line up for Sunday's game.

  25.01.02 - LECCE TRAINING - Heavy rain failed to interupt Lecce's training programme this afternoon where Alberto Cavasin experimented by using Superbi in the centre of midfield, he could replace the disqualified Conticchio for Sunday's game. Chevanton trained with the rest of the squad and then took part in a small practice match with the others and he could make the starting eleven for the game with Brescia. Silvestri could replace the disqualified Giacomazzi but a final decision wil be made after Saturday morning's session.

  25.01.02 - MILAN TRAINING - Billy Costacurta returned to training with the rest of the Milan squad but Rui Costa will be out of Sunday's game as he is still suffering from a foot injury. Ambrosini took part in some of today's trainng exercises.

  25.01.02 - PARMA TRAINING - 19 players have been called up to the squad for the game against Bologna on Saturday evening.

  25.01.02 - PERUGIA TRAINING - The Perugia squad took part in a double training session today with new signings Fabian O'Neill and Oscar Cordoba both involved. Cordoba should start in Sunday's game against Verona but O'Neill has stated that he is only 90% fit and will probably be missing.

  25.01.02 - PIACENZA TRAINING -Guardalben and Lamacchi have both been included in the squad for the game against Roma but Sacchetti is now doubtful after suffering from some muscle trouble.

  25.01.02 - TORINO TRAINING - Camolese has a problem with sorting out his defence for Sunday's game against Lazio. Fattori is disqualified, Delli Carri is still suffering from a knee injury and Galante is less than 50% certain to make the starting line-up. Martinelli could be called up to the starting eleven.

  25.01.02 - UDINESE TRAINING - Bedin and Zamboni are both 'flu victims and Pinzi is suffering from a high temperature, though he has a chance of recovering in time for Sunday's game. Gargo has a foot injury that could leave him out of the squad, making space for Caballero. Pineda has a back problem and could be replaced by Pieri, all in all Udinese have ten players on the injury list.

  25.01.02 - VENEZIA TRAINING - Maniero is available again after two setbacks in the week, one ankle injury picked up on Wednesday, and the other a head injury, picked up on Thursday. Bressan restricted himself to exercising in the gym and Sotgia missed training because of a thigh injury. Venezia are currently negotiating with Premiership side Sunderland over the transfer of Bjorklund, this could mean that Pavan might take his place in the starting line-up this weekend.

  25.01.02 - VERONA TRAINING - The Verona squad continued their training today (Friday) with Cossato the only injury worry for Malesani as he is suffering some inflammation to his leg.
