- ATALANTA TRAINING - Massimo Paganin
picked up an injury to his right thigh
during today's training session, he'll
miss the rest of this week's training
and Sunday's game against Milan. Comandini
resumed training today, working with
the teams athletic coach. Zenoni and
Rossini took part in some of today's
session. Doni is still away with the
Azzuri squad.

- ATALANTA TRAINING - Ousmane Dabo
returned to training with the rest
of the Atalanta squad today, for the
first time in over a month. Adrian
Madaschi has returned to Atalanta
following his loan spell with Monza
and he also trained today. Rossini
and Zenoni trained seperately from
the others and concentrated mainly
on running exercises,
Comandini missed today's session after
complaining of fatigue. Doni is away
on international duty with the Azzuri
squad.

Carlo Mazzone managed to keep himself
under control today at the bitter
'derby' clash between Atalanta and

- ATALANTA TRAINING - Vavassori has
confirmed that he will use Jose Inacio
Pia alongside Comandini in attack
for tomorrow's game against Brescia.
Otherwise the team will be the same
as last week with the exception of
either Natali or Paganin replacing
the disqualified Massimo Carrera.
Orlandini is unavailable, he will
resume full training again on Tuesday.
Cavalli, Dabo, Rossini and Zenoni
are all still injured.

- ATALANTA TRAINING - Zenoni, Rossini
and Cavalli undertook their seperate
training programmes again today. Massimo
Taibi has fully recovered from his
injury and it's been confirmed that
he will be in the starting line-up
for Sunday's 'derby' game with Brescia.
Bellini
still isn't a certain starter but
he has a possibility of being on the
bench. Ousmane Dabo has completed
his recovery but isn't set to return
until next week's game with Milan.
Orlandini will be available for selection
again by Tuesday.

- ATALANTA TRAINING - Ousmane Dabo
took part in today's practice match
but remains 'doubtful' for Sunday's
derby game with Brescia.
He should be back in time for the
following Week 23 game with AC Milan.
Orlandini is also expected to be fit
again in time for this match. Taibi,
Foglio and Bellini all trained regularly
with the other members of the Atalanta
squad today but Zenoni, Rossini and
Cavalli are still training seperately.

- ATALANTA TRAINING - Massimo Taibi
returned to full training with the
rest of the Atalanta squad today,
he'll be back in the starting line-up
for Sunday's game against Brescia.
Dabo received some individual coaching
and it looks as if he'll be available
again in time for the Week 23 game
against Milan. Rossini underwent therapy
and massage. Zenoni and Foglio kept
themselves to a seperate training
programme from the rest of the squad.

- ATALANTA TRAINING - The Atalanta
squad returned to training today with
Orlandini and Bellini training with
the others. Bianchi and Fabiano have
been called up to the Primavera squad
for tomorrow's game in the Viareggio
tournament. Massimo Taibi has been
discharged from hospital after receiving
treatment from the head wound he received
during Sunday's game, there is no
serious damage. Jose
Inacio Pia has signed an extension
of his contract with Atalanta, keeping
him at the club until 2006.

- ATALANTA TRAINING - The Atalanta
squad are expected to return to training
on Tuesday afternoon where the condition
of Bellini will be assessed. He's
expected to be available for next
week's local 'derby' game against
Brescia. Massimo Taibi will
also be examined after the cut to
his head during which forced him out
of Sunday's game at half-time.

- VERONA 3-1 ATALANTA - Verona's recent
run of form continued today as they
ran out comfortable 3-1 winners over
Atalanta at the Bentigodi stadium.
Italiano gave them an early lead,
their other two goals both came from
the penalty spot, Adrian Mutu converted
the first, Massimo Oddo the second.
Cristiano Doni scored Atalanta's only
goal of the game. Atalanta goalkeeper
Massimo Taibi didn't come out for
the second half and the visitors then
had captain Massimo Carrera sent off
with 5-minutes of the game remaining.....Details

- ATALANTA LATEST - Vavassori has
included Fabiano and Bianchi, both
reaclled from the Primavera team,
in a party of 20-players called up
for the first team for Sunday's game.
New signing Paolo Foglio looks likely
to start on the right side of the
defence.The two youngsters Jose Inacio
Pia and Vinicio Espainal should both
make the starting line-up.
Rossini, Bellini, Dabo, Zenoni, Orlandini,
Cavalli and Calderoni have been omitted.

returned to training with the rest
of the squad today, he'll be back
on the bench for Sunday's game. Doni
and Pinardi are also back training
with the others. Orlandini and Dabo

training seperately. Colombo was given
the day off in order to rest up.
