- BOLOGNA TRAINING - Tomorrow's friendly
game with Odense has been arranged
so that Francesco Guidolin can assess
the condition of Beppe Signori, the
striker could be on the substitutes
bench for Sunday's game. Gamberini
has returned from the Azzurini Under-21
squad but he is carrying an injury
to his right calf, though it shouldn't
prevent him from playing on Sunday,
Zaccardo is on stand-by as his replacement.
Olive is set to return to training
with the rest of the squad on Thursday,
but it's very doubtful that he'll
be available for Sunday's game with
Udinese.

trained with the rest of the squad
today and Guidolin is hopeful that
he'll be available for Sunday's game
against Udinese. Locatelli has a slight
injury and could only take part in
some of today's session. There's
a friendly game planned for Thursday
against the Danish side Odense, Kick-Off
2.00 p.m U.K Time, at the Casteldebole
training ground.

Falcone will be available again following
last week's disqualification. Wome
is expected to be back following Cameroon's

bench for next week's game with Udinese.
Locatelli's availablility won't be
known until later in the week.

title challenge appears to be petering
out after they went down 2-1 to Bologna
at the Renato Curi Stadium today.
Fabio Pecchi and Lamberto Zauli gave
the home side a 2-0 lead before Clarence
Seedorf grabbbed a late consolation

He is considering moving Carlo Nervo
into the centre of midfield with Brighi
replacing Pecchia. Gamberini may be

with Nervo and Firmani in behind.

Bologna's new signing Wadlo Smit is
reported to have been impressive during
Thursday's practice match. Goalkeeper
Gianluca Pagliuca is set to make his
100th Serie-A game for Bologna during
Sunday's game.

scored a goal in today's practice
match but he's still a doubt to make
the starting line-up for Sunday's
game. Though he looks certain to at
least start on the bench. Bologna
won the 'match 5-1, Nervo and Cruz
scored once each with Bellucci scoring
twice. Julio Cruz had to leave the
field after picking up a slight injury.
Locatelli only took part in some of
today's training session.

managed to arrange a friendly game
for tomorrow at Casteldebole against
Mezzolara, the main purpose of the
match is so that the condition of
Beppe Signori can be assessed. In
any case a final decision on his participation
in Sunday's game with Inter isn't
likely to be made until the very last
minute.
Signori and Locatelli have already
returned to full training with the
rest of the Bologna squad.

to fight their way back from being
a goal down in order to escape from
today's game with bottom club Venezia
with a single point.
Pippo Maniero gave the visitors a
first half lead with a header in the
23rd minute before Bellucci equalised
for the hosts right on the hour-mark,
heading home from a corner just four
minutes after coming on as a substitute.....Details

at St.Lorenzo today, where Beppe Signori
played for the first half but failed
to score. Francesco Guidolin still

to be likely starters. Valdo Smit,
Bologna's new Yugoslavian signing,
has completed his registration and
could be on the bench.
