Chievo squad have a friendly game
against a team from Lodigiani planned
for Thursday afternoon. Lupatelli
is continuing to train alone but he
should be available for Sunday's game.

- CHIEVO TRAINING - The
Chievo squad returned to training
this afternoon in order to prepare
for Sunday evening's game with Lazio.
Eriberto will be missing as his injury
will keep him out for the next 10-days.
Lupatelli did take part in some of
today's exercises, he looks ready
to be available for Sunday's game.
There's a double training session
planned for Wednesday and the squad
will leave for Rome on Thursday.

- CHIEVO 1-2 UDINESE - The wheels
have finally come off Chievo's
championship challenge. The side from
the little povince of Verona went
down 2-1 to Udinese at the Bentegodi
Stadium tonight. Kroldrup and Muzzi
gave Udinese a 2-0 lead inside the
first 25-minutes before Cossato scored
a late consolation goal for Chievo.
Udinese keeper Luigi Turci was sent
off deep into injury time but ir was
too late for Chievo to stage a fightback....Details

has been called up to the Italian

game against the Primavera squad 8-0,
with Perrotta scoring a hat-trick,
Corini scoring twice and Cossato,
Corradi and Beghetto adding the others.
All of the available squad members
took part in some of today's game
including Eriberto, who still has
some muscle trouble, and the new signings
Esposito, Rinaldi and Grillon.

is suffering from a cold and 'flu
like symptoms. Eriberto is suffering
from some muscle trouble. There is

- PIACENZA 2-2 CHIEVO - Chievo were
held to a 2-2 draw at Piacenza today,
in a game where the advange swung
between the two teams throughout the
afternoon. Marazzina gave the visitors
an early lead but a penalty conversion
by Dario Hubner, right on the stroke
of half-time, levelled the tie. De
Francesco then gave the hosts the
advantage before a late strike from
Cossatto meant the game finished at
2-2.
Chievo's Eugenio Corini went from
hero to zero as he missed two penalties
during the course of the game.....Details
