- JUVENTUS TRAINING - Those
players who didn't take part in last
night's match were the only ones to
atttend training today. Amoruso and
Tudor are both continuing to improve
in condition but neither player will
be available for the Turin 'derby'
on Sunday night. Nedved
and Montero are both set to return
to the starting eleven for Sunday's
game but Alessio Tacchinardi may be
rested.

- JUVENTUS 0-0 DEPORTIVO - A
tired looking Juventus wasted a great
chance to put their mark on the Champions
League 2nd Stage when they were held
to a goalless draw by Deprotibo la
Corruna at the Delle Alpi tonight.
David Trezeguet wasted a few chances,
hitting the post with one, and Alessandro
Del Piero missed a penalty, though
Juve are on top of their group on

- JUVENTUS TRAINING - The
Juventus squad undertook a light training
programme today as they prepared for
Tuesday's Champions League game with
Deportvo la Corruna. Paolo Montero
will probably be rested from Tuesday's
squad as
he a slight pulled muscle, though
it's nothing serious and it's just
a precautionary measure. He should
be back in the starting line-up for
Sunday's Turin 'derby'.

- JUVENTUS 2-1 FIORENTINA - Juventus
went to the top of the Serie-A table
this afternoon after a 2-1 win ovr
Fiorentina at the Delle Alpi Stadium.
Juve took an early leadthough their
prolific striker David Trezeguet before
the 'on-loan'Brazilian wonder-kid
Adriano managed an equaliser
almost immediately. Del Piero edged
the home said ahead and they maintained
their advantage to the end. The Viola
had Tarozzi dismissed around 10-minutes
before the end of the game....Details

- JUVENTUS TRAINING - Tudor
and Amoruso are both injured and wil
miss Saturday afternoon's game with
Fiorentina. Montero and Birindelli
are both carrying injuries, Montero
may go on the subs bench with Thuram
moving to the centre of the defence
and Zenoni at right back.

- JUVENTUS TRAINING - The
Juventus squad took another training
session
today. Those players who were convened
for this week's internationals only
took part in some of today's session,
Enzo Maresca appears to have fully
recovered from the ankle injury that
forced him off the field during the
Azzurini Under-21 game on Tuesday
evening. Birindelli confined himself
to working in the gym after picking
up an ankle injury during training.
Lippi still has to decide between
Davids and Tacchinardi for Saturday's
game with Fiorentina, Tudor and Amoruso
are unavailable through injury, Iuliano
is disqualified.
