  13.02.02 - LAZIO TRAINING - Paolo Negro underwent a scan on his injured left knee today and the results confirmed that he'll be out of action for the next two months, as he has some ligament damage. Favalli also underwent a scan on his injury, he has a torn muscle and will have to rest for the next three weeks. Stefano Fiore continued to train alone, he's very doubtful to make the squad for Sunday's game. Giannichedda, Liverani and Peruzzi all kept to a seperate training regime from the others butLiverani and Peruzzi should be abavailable for Sunday, Giannichedda is disqualified. Simeone continues to recover but is some way from being fully fit. Stankovic, Mihajlovic, Mendieta, Couto and Poborsky are all away with their respective national squads.

  12.02.02 - LAZIO TRAINING - Simone Inzaghi retuned to training with the rest of the Lazio squad today. Fiore only took part in some of the exercises but he has a chance of being available for Sunday night's game with Chievo. Diego Simeone has returned to working with the football. Stankovic, Mihajlovic, Mendieta, Poborsky and Fernando Couto were all missing as they are on international duty with their respective national squads.

  11.02.02 - LAZIO TRAINING - The Lazio squad have taken Monday off in order to rest, they will return to work on Tuesday. Paolo Negro will be out for the next month after picking up an injury during Sunday's game. Liverani had to leave the field after suffering some muscle trouble, his condition will have to be assessed, though he is expected to be available for next Sunday's game. Fiore and Inzaghi should both be avaiablle for Sunday.

  10.02.02 - PARMA 1-0 LAZIO - Parma's revival continued today when a single goal from Marco Di Vaio gave them a 1-0 win over Lazio. The visitors were almost back to full strength with the return of their captain Alessandro Nesta, and their Argentine striker Hernan Crespo, but their cause wasn't helped with the dismissal of Giuliano Giannichedda in the second half....Details

  09.02.02 - LAZIO TRAINING - Nesta and Crespo are both set for a return to the starting eleven for tomorrow's game at Parma but Crespo isn't though to be up to playing for the full 90-miinutes. Both Fiore and Inzaghi have had to drop out of the squad but they should be ready for next week's game with Chievo. Liverani only took part in some of today's training session after experiencing some muscle trouble but he will be in tomorrow's starting line-up.

  08.02.02 - LAZIO TRAINING - Hernan Crespo is available for Sunday's game against Parma but Stefano Fiore is still suffering from an injury to his right knee that could force him out of the squad. Simone Inzaghi has returned to training but will miss Sunday's game. Jaap Stam has had his disqualification reduced from 5-months to 4-months, he'll be available to play again from March 16th.

  07.02.02 - LAZIO TRAINING - The Lazio squad took part in an 'in-house' practice match today with Hernan Crespo taking part. Peruzzi missed the 'game' after experiencing some muscle trouble but he will be in the starting eleven for Sunday's game. Inzaghi took part in some training but is extremely doubtful for Sunday. Fiore is also out.

  06.02.02 - LAZIO TRAINING - Stefano Fiore has some slight damage to the collateral ligamentt in his right knee and is now extremely doubtful for Sunday's game with Parma. There is still some doubt over whether Hernan Crespo will be fit enough to return. Karel Poborsky only took part in some of today's training but should make the starting eleven. Simone Inzagi was missing from today's session.

  05.02.02 - LAZIO TRAINING - Stefano Fiore has an injury to his right knee and missed today's training session and remains doubtful for Sunday's game with Parma. Hernan Crespo has returned to some training but there remains a doubt over his availability for Sunday but Nesta is available. Simone Inzaghi has been given two days off from trainin gin order to rest. Fernando Couto has been disqualified for 1-match following his sending-off on Sunday. Couto received a Yellow Card for a foul and a straight Red Card for protesting to the referee.

  04.02.02 - LAZIO TRAINING - The Lazio squad are expected to return to training on Tuesday afternoon after taking Monday off in order to rest. Fiore received an injury to his left knee during Sunday night's game with Milan and his condition will have to be assessed. Both Alessandro Nesta and Hernan Crespo are set to return to the starting eleven for next weekend's game against Parma.

  03.02.02 - LAZIO 1-1- MILAN - An late equaliser from Andrei Shevchenko enabled Milan to steal a point from their trip to the Stadio Olimpico tonight. Dejan Stankovic gave Lazio a first half lead before the home side were reduced to 10-men with the dismissal of Fernando Couto in the 78th minute. This gave Milan a ray of home and an equaliser in the 94th minute left the two teams with one point each.....Details

  02.02.02 - LAZIO TRAINING - The Lazio squad were visited by their former playmaker Juan Sebastien Veron today at heir training camp. Alessandro Nesta has been left out of the squad for Sunday's game after he received a blow to his ankle during training. Club doctors have advised him to delay his return to action for at least another week. Zaccheroni is toying with the idea of using Stefano Fiore and Claudio Lopez as twin strikers for the upcoming game, though he still has the option of using Simone Inzaghi.

  01.02.02 - LAZIO TRAINING - Nesta suffered an injury setback during today's training when he received a blow to his right ankle which makes him doubtful for Sunday's game. Crespo continued to show improvement in his condition and is still on target for a comeback in next week's game against Parma.
