- The Lazio squad took part in a small
practice match this afternon, though
Gottardi , Mendieta and Negro didn't
take part, though all three will still
be available for Sunday's Serie-A
game. Simone Inzaghi will undertake
a fitness test on Friday to see if
he can make the squad.

- STAM BAN
- Japp Stam has been handed a 5-month
ban after testing positive for the
banned substance nandrolone. This
effectively ends his season.

- LAZIO TRAINING
- Lazio took a double training session
today. Simone Inzaghi resumed running
during today's training session and
is a possible for Sunday's game. Alessandro
Nesta resumed trainig with a football
for the first time since his injury
and played some football-tennis with
Diego Simeone.
Nesta is set to return to training
with the rest of the squad on Friday
and should be fit for the game against
MIlan on February 3rd.

- Hernan Crespo will be out of action
for at least 3-weeks after picking
up an injury in Sunday's game against
Perugia. He underwent some physiotherapy
today along with Simone Inzaghi and
Favalli, though Inzaghi could return
to action for next Sunday's game.
Nesta and Simeone both continued on
their road to recovery, Nesta is expected
back in time for the game against
Milan on February 3rd, Simeone should
be back sometime in March.
