complaining of some muscle troubles
but he should be available for Sunday's
game. Sacchetti did take part in some
of today's training session and he

kept himself at the top of the leading
goalscorers table
when he opened the scoring for Piacenza
today at the Stadio Delle Alpi but
Torino's Marco Ferrante equalised
just 10-minutes later to level the

has confirmed that the will use the

of Sommese replacing Gautieri, after
Sommese missed last week's game through

scored in today's friendly game with
their Primavera squad, which they
won 2-0. Poggi was given the day off
from traiinng for 'family' reasons,
Sacchetti missed the game through
injury, he isn't available for the
Torino match.

- PIACENZA TRAINING - The Piacenza
squad took
a double training session today but
Volpi and Sommese only took part in
this morning's exercises. Sacchetti
continued to train alone. There will
be a practice match against the Primavera
sqaud tomorrow afternoon, weather
permitting.

- PIACENZA TRAINING - The Piacenza
squad returned
to training today but Volpi was missing.
He was given the day off in order
to rest but doesn't have any serious
problems. Sacchetti will have a 'scan'
on Thursday and a decision on his
availablilty will
have to wait until the results are
known. Cristante is suffereing from
a heavy dose of 'flu.

expected to return to training on
Tuesday afternoon after taking Monday
off in order to rest.
Statuto is expected back
for next Sunday's game with Torino
but Gautieri will be disqualified.

- PIACENZA 2-2 CHIEVO - Chievo were
held to a 2-2 draw at Piacenza today,
in a game where the advange swung
between the two teams throughout the
afternoon. Marazzina gave the visitors
an early lead but a penalty conversion
by Dario Hubner, right on the stroke
of half-time, levelled the tie. De
Francesco then gave the hosts the
advantage before a late strike from
Cossatto meant the game finished at
2-2.
Chievo's Eugenio Corini went from
hero to zero as he missed two penalties
during the course of the game.....Details

gone down with the 'flu, Sacchetti
has some musclular problems and Statuto
is disqualified, leaving Walter Novellino
with only 18-players to choose from
for tomorrow's game. Lamacchi and
Matuzalem are both likely starters
after missing last week's game, Lucarelli
and Tosto should be preferred to Boselli
and Mora. Sommese, Orlandini, Boselli,
Mora, Miceli, Caccia and Amauri are
the most likely players to be on the
bench.

session this afternoon but Sacchetti
was missing with some muscle problems.
Sommese is expected to be on the bench
