- TORINO TRAINING - Torino took another
training session today. They will
leave for Milan tomorrow evening (Friday).
Mezzano is suffering from a slight
back injury and confined himself to
working in the gym alongside Lucarelli,
who has some 'flu symptoms but they
should both be included in the travelling
party.
Martinelli is still with the Primavera
squad for the Viareggio Tournament.

- The Torino squad undertook a double
session of training today,
taking part in a small practice match
this afternoon. Mezzano was missing
because of a slight problem in his
back. On the transfer front Calaio
has been loaned out to Ternana and
Fissore has been loaned to Livorno.

- DIAWARA SACKED
- Torino defender Djibril Diawara,
currently on loan at Bolton Wanderers,
has been dismissed from the club and
sent packing back to Italy after failing
to comply with an alcohol curfew.

- The Torino squad returned to the
training ground today and it looks
like Scarchilli and De Ascentis have
chances of making the starting eleven
for next weekend's game. Martinelli
and Calaio have been called up to
the Primavera squad for the Viareggio
Tournament.

- The Torino squad were given the
day off today in order to rest. They
are due to return to training tomorrow
afternoon in order to prepare for
Saturday evening's game with Inter.

- TWO DEBUT AT THE DELLE ALPI
- Both teams gave debuts to new players
in yesterday's game between Torino
and Lazio. Torino youngster Franco
came on as a late substitute in the
80th minute and Lazio's Evacuo replaced
Stefano Fiore in the 77th minute.

- LUCARELLI UNLOCKS LAZIO DEFENCE
- Cristian Lucarelli scored the only
goal of the game to give Torino all
3-points as they beat Lazio 1-0 at

- Galante has recovered from his high
temperature and Delli Carri appears
to have shaken off his knee injury,
so both players could make the starting
eleven for tomorrow's game with Lazio.
Daniele Martinelli, who had been expected
to make his Serie-A debut, will therefore
go on the bench with another Torino
new boy Jose Ramallo Franco.

out his defence for Sunday's game
against Lazio. Fattori is disqualified,
Delli Carri is still suffering from
a knee injury and Galante is less
than 50% certain to make the starting
