- VENEZIA TRAINING - The
Venezia squad drew Wednesday's friendly
with Romanian side Gloria Bistrita
1-1, with their goal coming from a
Maniero penalty. Magallanes, Valtolina,
Bison and Lai all kept to a seperate
training regime from the others, with
Rukavina undergoing another session
of physiotherapy.

- VENEZIA TRAINING - The
Venezia squad were given a stiff talking
to in the dressing rooms at the training
ground today, following their dismal
performance against Piacenza last
Sunday. They then resumed training,
with some athletic exercises, followed
by a small 'in-house' practice match.
Vialli has been confirmed as the replacement
for the disqualified Bilica for next
Sunday's game. Bison, the team's third
choice goalkeeper, was missing as
he had to visit the dentist, Rukavina
underwent a session of physiotherapy,
Budan has a knee injury and kept to
a seperate training regime. Di Napoli
has a high temperature and missed
today's session. Magallanes was also
misisng with a 'cricked' neck. There's
a double training sesison planned
for Wednesday, with a friendly against
the Romanian side Gloria Bistrata
in the morning.

- VENEZIA TRAINING - The
Venezia squad are set to return to
training on Tuesday afternoon where
Rukavina is expected to resume full
training after missing the last three
weeks with a thigh injury.
Fabio Bilica will miss next Sunday's
game with Milan after picking up a
Yellow Card during Sunday's defeat
at Piacenza, he's likely to be replaced
by William Viali.

- PIACENZA 5-0 VENEZIA - Dario Hubner
and Di Francesco scored two goals
apiece as Piacenza hammered five past
bottom of the table Venezia this afternoon.
Hubner is now top of the Serie-A leading
goalscorers chart with Inter's Cristian
Vieri breathing down his neck....Details

- VENEZIA LATEST - The Venezia squad
continued to prepare for Sunday's
game. Andersson should be back in
the starting line-up in place of Pablo
Garcia as Garcia only returned from
South America on Friday afternoon.
Bettarini should make the starting
line up but Valtolina will probably
miss the game, Budan and Rukavina
haven't been called to the squad.

- VENEZIA TRAINING - A heavy thunderstorm
reduced today's training session to
just one hour but the squad then took
part in some tactical discussions
in the dressing rooms. Donnet and
Andersson have both returned to full
training with the others, Pablo Garcia
and Lai have both returned from their
midweek efforts with their national
squads. Rukavina undertook some physiotherapy
before starting training where he
and Budan undertook a seperate training
programme from the others. There's
another training session planned for
Saturday morning, the squad will then
leave for Piacenza in the afternoon.

- VENEZIA TRAINING - The Venezia squad
took part in a small' in-house' practice
match today. Andersson has returned
to the squad following his trip to
Greece with the Swedish national squad.
Donnet worked in the gym today, Budan
kept himself to a seperate training
regime, Rukavina underwent some more
physiotherapy. Pablo Garcia isn't
expected back from his call-up to
the Uruguayan national squad until
Friday afternoon. Oliver Ongfiang
has been called up to the first team
squad from the Primavera team
and he trainined with them for the
first time.
