- VENEZIA TRAINING - Bison, Viali,
Maniero, Valtolina and De Franceschi
undertook some seperate training today
as they attempt to recover from injuries
missing Venezia's friendly game against
Rijeka, which they won 5-2. Magallanes,
Di Napoli, Vannucchi and Budan all
scored, the other goal came from an
own goal. For Sunday's game with Bologna
they look likely to use the same team
that drew with Inter last week.

- The Venezia squad took part in a
double traiing session today with
athletic exercises and tactical training
in the morning and a small practice
match in the afternoon. Viali
has returned to training but confined
himself to working in the gym. De
Franceschi undertook a seperate taining
programme after complaining of some
slight muscle trouble. Ballelo and
Patrini have both been convened from
the Primavera squad, their first call-up
to the first team squad.

- VENEZIA TRAINING
- Primavera squad member Enri Tiozzo
took part in his first training session
with the senior squad today.
Rossi missed today's session after
suffering from problems flying back
from Napoli because of the heavy fog
and William Viali was missing because
after suffering from a high temperature.
Bressan returned to take part in some
exercises after injuring his back
last Friday and Sotgia also took part
in some of the training programme.
The Venezia squad have a friendly
game planned for Thursday afternoon
against the Croatian team Rijeka.

- Ighli Vannucchi has joined Bilica,
Pavan, Bettarini, Andersson and Valtolina
on the 'diffidati' list. All six players
are only one Yellow Card away from
suspension.

- The Venezia squad were given the
day off today in order to rest, they
are expected back in training tomorrow
afternoon. Bressan's condition will
be assessed tomorrow after he injured
his back during last Friday's training.

- BJORKLUND COMPLETES MOVE
- Swedish International Joachim Bjorklund
has completed a £1.5m move to
Sunderland. Bjorklund has only played
18-times for Venezia since joining
them in the summer.
He is awaiting international clearance
to see if he can play in tomorrow's
local derby game against Middlesbrough.

- Christian Vieri's remarkable goal
run continued for Inter today when
they met Venezia but a late equaliser,
a penalty converted by Pippo Maniero,
levelled the tie at 1-1, pushing Inter
down to 2nd place in the league table.......Details

- Simone Pavan will replace Joachim
Bjorklund for tomorrow's game with
Inter Milan. Maniero will start
after shaking off his midweek injuries
and after last week's disqualification.
Viali will be on the subs bench.

- VENEZIA TRAINING
- Maniero is available again after
two setbacks in the week, one ankle
injury picked up on Wednesday, and
the other a head injury, picked up
on Thursday.
Bressan restricted himself to exercising
in the gym and Sotgia missed training
because of a thigh injury. Venezia
are currently negotiating with Premiership
side Sunderland over the transfer
of Bjorklund, this could mean that
Pavan might take his place in the
starting line-up this weekend.
