- VERONA TRAINING - Leonardo
Colucci suffered a setback today which
forced him to stop training. Dainelli
missed training with some muscle trouble.
Gonnella, Frick, Camoranesi, Seric
and Ferron are all injured and for
the moment they are all unavailable,
though Italiano is ready to return
to training. There's a friendly game
planned for Thursday afternooon against
the amateurs of Castelnuovo.

- VERONA TRAINING - Seric,
Gonnella, Italiano and Frick all missed
today's training session but Leonardo
Colucci did return to work, though
he carried out a seperate training
programme from the others.
He should be available for Sunday's
game. Salvetti appears to have recovered
from a slight thgh injury and took
part in today's session, joining the
rest of the squad.

- VERONA TRAINING - Mario
Frick will have to wait for a few
more days before the exact nature
of his eye injury is known. Frick
received a kick in the eye from Ivan
Cordoba during Sunday's game with
Inter, and at first it was though
that he may have suffered a detartched
retina. Though it's now thought to
be not that serious an injury. Goalkeeper
Fabrizio Ferron spent the night in
hospitalfollowing hjis clash with
Dainelli and he appears to have some
damage to his sternum and to his ribs.
A decision on his availablility for
next week's game with Bologna won't
be made until later in the week, the
same goes for Italiano, who suffered
a foot injury during Sunday's game.

- VERONA 0-3 INTER - Cristiano Zanetti
scored his first ever senior goal
today as Inter put an end to Verona's
recent great home run with a comprehensive
3-0 victory at the Bentigodi Stadium.
Cristian Vieri ended his own personal
goal drought with the other two goals
to keep him in touch with Dario Hubner
at the top of the Serie-A leading
goalscorers table....Details

- VERONA LATEST - Verona will be forced
to make several changes for Sunday's
game with Inter as
they attempt to increase their home
run to six consecutive victories.
Paolo
Cannavaro should replace Gonnella,
Giuseppi
Colucci will replace Leonardo Colucci,
Teodorani will replace Seric, Castelli
should replace Camoranesi.

- VERONA TRAINING - Leonardo Colucci,
Seric, Salvetti and Gonnella are all
definately out of Sunday's game with
Inter. Colucci
will undergo some test on his injury
and he'll be forced to rest for the
next few days. Malesani won't decide
on his replacement until after Saturday
morning's training session, though
Teodorani is the most likely player
to start in his place, Paolo Cannavaro
should replace Gonnella.

- VERONA TRAINING - Leonardo Colucci
and Gonella both missed today's training
session. Gonella has an injury to
his right calf, Colucci is still suffering
from a foot injury. Both players remain
very doubtful for Sunday's game with
Inter. Salvetti kept to a seperate
training regime as he bids to recover
from a small thigh injury.
There's a friendly game against a
team of local amateurs planned for
Thursday afternoon.

- VERONA TRAINING - Leonardo Colucci
was missing from today's training
session after picking up an injury
during last Sunday's game. He'll be
forced to miss the next few days training
and is extremely doubtful for Sunday's
game with Inter. Salvetti continued
on his solo training programme but
Teodorani trained with the others.
Zanchi has also returned to training.

- VERONA TRAINING - The Verona squad
are set to return to training on Tuesday
afternoon where the condition of their
injured players, Leonardo Colucci
and Zanchi, will be assessed. Zanchi
took a blow to his nose during Sunday's
game and it could be broken, Colucci
suffered some muscle trouble. Camoranesi's
condition will also be under close
scrutiny.

to a 1-1 draw by Verona today despite
taking an early lead with a 4th minute
goal from Giacomazzi. Liechtenstein

- VERONA TRAINING - The Verona squad
took part in a small practice match
with their Primavera squad today where
Mutu and Gilardino both shone. Leonardo
Colucci and Camoranesi have both resumed
training. Teodaorani trained seperately
today, he'll miss Sunday's game. Salvetti
has an injury to his right thigh,
he'll also miss Sunday's game.

returned to training again today where
the club doctors appear to have ruled
out both Teodorani and Salvetti from
Sunday's game. Italiano and Frick
both have slight injury worries, Italiano
is experiencing some muscle trouble,
Frick has a slight injury to his right
knee. Camoranesi is also 'doubtful'
for Sunday's game with Lecce. There's
a small friendly game planned for
tomorrow agaisnt the Primavera squad.

- VERONA TRAINING - The Verona squad
returned
to training today but Salvetti was
given the day off in order to rest
after picking up an injury to his
right thigh during Sunday's game with
Lecce. He'll be out of action for
the next few days. Teodorani kept
himself to a seperate training regime
from the others after pulling a thigh
muscle during Sunday's game. There's
a double training session planned
for Wednesday.

off in order to rest.

- VERONA 3-1 ATALANTA - Verona's recent
run of form continued today as they
ran out comfortable 3-1 winners over
Atalanta at the Bentigodi stadium.
Italiano gave them an early lead,
their other two goals both came from
the penalty spot, Adrian Mutu converted
the first, Massimo Oddo the second.
Cristiano Doni scored Atalanta's only
goal of the game. Atalanta goalkeeper
Massimo Taibi didn't come out for
the second half and the visitors then
had captain Massimo Carrera sent off
with 5-minutes of the game remaining.....Details

finally been cleared to play by Fifa
and will be on the bench for tomorrow's
game. Dainelli and Salvetti will be
in the starting eleven as replacements
