- TRAGEDY STRIKES BRESCIA
- 27-year old Brescia player Vittoria Mero
has died in a car crash on the road between
Milan and Veice. News of his death filtered
through to the Tardini stadium just minutes
before yesterday evening's Coppa Italia semi-final
was due to be played. The game has now been
postponed until Janury 30th.

Alex Del Piero gave a great performance for
Juventus, scoring the winning goal as his side
came from behind to beat Milan 2-1 at the San
Siro in their Coppa Italia Semi-Final 1st Leg

- Corradi reutrned to training with the Chievo
squad today, after recovering from a strong
bout of 'flu, as they held a double training
session
today. The squad have a friendly game against
their Primavera squad scheduled for Thursday
afternoon.

- The Viola squad returned to training today
(Wednesday), where they were joined by Nuno
Gomes and Di Livio, though Amoroso was missing
as he underwent a precautionary scope. Adani
was missing due to a death in his family.

Majorca today where they held a small practice
match at Real Mallorca's training ground.

was restricted to training in the gym. He undertook
some physiotherapy and some bicycle riding and
