| 3rd August 2000 - Atalanta will
play another pre-season friendly game today when they face Albino Leffe
at 4.00 p.m U.K Time. Their new twin strikers, Ventola and Ganz are expected
to start a game together for the first time, as Atalanta look likley to
use a 4-4-2 formation with Pinato in goal, C.Zenoni, Paganin, Carera and
Bellini in defence with D.Zenoni, Zauri, Donati and Doni in midfield. Atalanta
goalkeeper Alberto Fontana re-joined the rest of the squad at their training
camp at St.Pellegrino yesterday. Today he will have an examination on the
finger he fractured whilst training in Austria two weeks ago. Fabio Gallo
now looks likely to stay at Atalanta for the coming season but the club
are still looking for a new central midfielder, Giunti and De Ascentis of
AC Milan remain the two most likely transfer targets |
