Sweden get the game away, Kennet Andersson gets an effort on target straight from the kick-off and he forces a good save from De Wilde

Belgium get the ball all the way up-field to the Swedish keeper, Marcus Hedman, he puts a long ball forward and finds Kennet Andersson's head but the move breaks down

Belgium get forward with Mpenza and Verhayen but the Swedish defence get the ball clear and Wilmotts fouls Kennet Andersson in midfield

Mpenza tries to get forward for Belgium but he can't break through the Swedish defence. Sweden counter and win a free-kick just outside the Belgian box. Patrick Andersson tries a shot from the free-kick, the ball deflects behind for a corner on the right. The cross comes over and the Belgian defence get the ball away

Pettersson is fouled by Verhayen in midfield. Mjallby gets the ball into the Belgian box, Pettersson almost steals in as Staelens clears the ball behind for another Swedish corner, this time on the right. The cross comes over and Staelens puts the ball behind for yet another corner. The cross comes over and Kennet Andersson heads the ball just inches wide of the post

Strupar is caught offside for Belgium. Strupar finds Verhayen on the right flank, he crosses into the box but it misses everybody, Vanderhaeghe puts a good ball through to Mpenza in the box but he's caught just offside

Belgium win a throw-in deep inside the Swedish half and win a corner from it. The cross comes over and Hedman comes out and makes a good punch clear. Belgium get the ball back but it ends up safely in the Swedish keeper's arms. A long ball up-field sets Pettersson clear but he's bundled off the ball by Verhayen

Strupar almost finds the ball inside the Swedish box but the move breaks down. Verhayen gives away a free-kick 35-yards out, on the left flank but the ball is wasted

Strupar tries a snap-shot on the turn from the edge of the Swedish box but he's just off target. Sweden break but Deflandre does well to cut-out a ball meant for Pettersson. Sweden win a free-kick 40-yards out on the right

Verhayen puts the ball into the box, looking for Strupar, Wilmotts manages to get to the ball under pressure from Bjorklund but the ball rolls through to Hedman in the Swedish goal. Belgium come forward again but Mpenza is caught offside.

Sweden get forward and Pettersson does well to win a corner, on the left. The cross come in to the box but De Wilde plucks the ball out of the air, a free-kick is given to Belgium anyway. De Wilde clears the ball up-field, Verhayen gets behind the defence but shoots wide. Staelens goes down with a head injury as Sweden win a corner. Pettersson crosses into the box but again De Wilde is there to gather the ball

Wilmotts finds Verhayen on the right flank, he tries to get forward but he fouls Ljungberg on the half-way line. Belgium get forward again, Strupar tries to thread a ball through from the left but it's blocked

Andersson tries to find Pettersson again, he beats Staelens but he's crowded out, Patrick Andersson miss-kicks the ball in midfield and allows Mpenza to break down the right flank, he crosses into the box but Wilmotts slips over and Sweden get the ball clear. Sweden get forward, Ljungberg plays a great ball through for Kennet Andersson but an offside is given against him

Belgium get forward and win a free-kick by the right hand corner-flag. Deflandre puts the ball into the Swedish box but Kennet Andersson is there to get the ball clear

32-minutes played and Belgium have a free-kick on the half-way line. Staelens puts the ball into the Swedish box but Verhayen fails to get onto it and the ball rolls out of play for a goal-kick. Staelens gives away a free-kick for a foul on Petterson. The ball is played into the Belgian box but De Wilde claims it

Leonard puts a free-kick forward and it puts the Swedish defence under some pressure until Patrick Andersson manages to clear the ball. Nilsson makes a mistake in midfield, Strupar latches onto the ball and tries a shot from 25-yards out but he fails to connect properly with the ball and it's an easy save for Hedman

Belgium win a free-kick just inside the Swedish half, Verhayen gets behind the Swedish defence on the right, he crosses into the box, Mpenza rises well but puts his header high and wide after Ljungberg is caught napping. Staelens and Petterson clash in midfield and the free-kick is given to Belgium

Kennet Andersson gets into the box but a free-kick is given against him for shirt-pulling. Strupar gives away a free-kick on the half-way line. Ljungberg breaks through the midfield and finds space, he shoots from just outside the box and forces a good save from De Wilde

Nillson makes a mistake Goor breaks through and shoots, it's the opening goal for Belgium from 10-yards out and from a narrow angle, in the 42nd minute

Goal !!! Goor !!! Belgium 1-0 Sweden

Belgium come forward again and Patrick Andersson gets a Yellow Card for a foul on Mpenza. 1-minute of first-half injury time to play

Second-Half Starts

Lucic has replace Nilsson for Sweden at half-time. Belgium break forward, Srupar finds Mpenza, he appears to control the ball with his arm, possibly his chest, but smashes it into the net with a great shot in the first minute of the second-half

Strupar does well on the right flank, Deflandre puts a great cross into the box but a free-kick is given against Belgium in the box. Sweden break quickly, Kennet Andersson finds Pettersson but he shoots wide, the ball may have been deflected by a defender but a goal-kick is given. Mpenza is caught offside for Belgium

Larsson replaces Pettersson for Sweden in the 49th minute. Larsson does well out on the left flank but he's crowded out, though he does win a throw-in, though the ball ends up safely in De Wilde's arms

De Wilde makes a bad mistakee from a long back-pass, giving the ball straight to Mjallby and he has an easy task to score from 6-yards out

Lukic is caught offside for Sweden. Daniel Andersson plays a great ball through the centre for Ljungberg, he tries to flick the ball over the keeper but De Wilde manages to save with his legs, though Sweden get a corner on the left. Daniel Andersson crosses, the ball misses everybody and goes for a throw-in on the far side

Belgium win a free-kick in midfield, the ball is played forward and a misunderstanding between Patrick Andersson and Hedman almost lets Belgium in, Sweden survive

Ljungberg plays the ball through to Mjallby, he beats the offside trap but just fails to control the ball and the move breaks down

Leonard plays a good ball into the box, Mpenza just fails to connect but the ball drops to Deflandre, just outside the box, he hammers in a first-timeshot but it goes wide. Leonard tries a shot from 30-yards out but it's well off-target

Staelens fouls Larsson and Sweden get a free-kick just outside the box and slightly to the right of centre. Kennet Andersson curls the free-kickaround the outside of the wall just wide of the goal

64-minutes played Belgium get forward but Strupar handles the ball and a free-kick is given against him. Verhayen then receives a Yellow card after a foul on Ljungberg in midfield

Belgium surge forward but Strupar is caught offside. Sweden play the ball back to Marcus Hedman, he hoofs the ball up-field and Sweden are caught offside

Belgium win a corner on the right as a shot takes a deflection off a Swedish defender. The ball is played deep, it's knocked back across the goal, the ball ends up in the net, from Mpenza, but a free-kick is given for a foul against Hedman. Luc Nilis replaces Branco Strupar for Belgium in the 68th minute. Yksel Osmanovsky replaces daniel Andersson for Sweden in the 69th minute

Mpenza is caught offside again. Sweden get forward and win a corner. Osmanovsky crosses into the box, there's some pressure on the Belgian defence but an ofside breaks the move down. Leonard is replaced by van Kerkhoven for Belgium in the 72nd minute.

Belgium win a free-kick 30-yards out and central. Nilis' free-kick is hit straight at the defensive wall and Sweden get the ball clear. Nilis gets a shot on target from inside the box but it's blocked by Bjorklund. Eventually a free-kick is given against Belgium

76-minutes played and Sweden try to break, Ljungberg is brought down by Nilis on the half-way line and Nilis receives a Yellow Card. Osmanovsky gives away a free-kick for a foul on Deflandre.

Belgium win a free-kick 35-yars out on the left-flank. Nilis plays the ball into the Sweden box but Lucic gets it clear. Patrick Andersson fouls Goor on the edge of the box and he receives a Red Card in the 80th minute. Belgium have a free-kick on the edge of the box. Nilis tries a curling shot but it lands on the roof of the net

Sweden surge forward and win a throw-in deep inside the Belgium half. There's some confusion in the Belgium box but eventually Deflandre hoofs the ball clear and Belgium try a counter-attack. Nilis tries another shot but again shoots wide. Deflandre is injured after a challenge by Osmanovsky and he leaves the field on a stretcher

Larsson tries to latch onto a long ball but van Kerkhoven beats him to it. Nilis gives away a free-kick for a foul on Lucic as Deflandre returns to the action. Mjallby gets a good header on target and De Wilde manages to push it behind for a corner. Verhayen goes down injured and he leaves the field on a stretcher. Peeters replaces Verhayen in the 87th minute. Osmanovsky's corner comes over and De Wilde gathers the ball comfortably

Verhayen attempts to return to the action, he doesn't realise that he's been replaced by Peeters. The game moves into injury time, 4-minutes to play

Mpenza knocks the ball back, Wilmotts tries a first time shot but it goes just wide. van Kerhoven receives a Yellow Card for Belgium. Vandenhague is fouled in midfield and Belgium get a free-kick. Wilmotts gets his head to the ball but Hedman saves easily
