Owen gets the ball to Beckham on the right, he crosses into the box but fails to find Shearer, Stelea collects the ball comfortably

Contra floats the ball into the England box, Ilie fails to get onto the end of it

Contra is injured as he collides with Wise in midfield

Popescu gives away a free-kick in midfield, Wise finds Gary Nevill eon the right, the ball

is eventually cut out and Romania come forward and win a throw-in by the half-way line
