Albertini puts a free-kick into the box and Totti scores with a well taken header

Inzaghi combines well with Totti on the half-way line, the move breaks down as Totti is fouled

There's a penalty appeal in the Belgium boxas there appears to be a hand-ball, nothing is given, the ball drops to Maldini but he slips and Belgium counter-attack very quickly, Vanderhaegue has a shot blocked. Italy pump the ball upfield but they are caught offside.

Maldini puts a great ball into the area, Goor manages to put it behind for a corner. It's played short, Conte gets a cross in, Inzaghi deflects if goalwards but De Wilde makes the save

Totti is fouled by Wilmots in midfield

Cannavaro does well to intercept a ball played to Mpenza and he wins a free-kick in the process

Fiore and Maldini combine well in midfield but the move breaks down deep inside the Belgian half, Totti fouls Wilmots on the half-way line

Mpenza finds Wilmots, he shoots well but again Toldo is there to make the save.

Conte receives a Yellow Card for a foul on Goor. Henrikx replaces the injured van Kerkhoven for Belgium in the 44th minute

Albertini is fouled by Goor in midfield. Vanderhaeghe goes down under a challenge from Zambrotta in midfield, he's given a Yellow Card, a very bad decision as he didn't appear to touch him

Second-Half Starts

Strupar is fouled by Cannavaro 35-yars out. Goor puts the ball into the box, it's knocked out to Staelens on the edge of the box, he shoots well and again Toldo makes a fine save. Belgium get a corner on the right, the ball is floated into the box, Toldo punches it clear then Totti fouls Mpenza on the edge of the box. The ball is wasted by being hit straight at the defensive wall

Iulaino gives away a free-kick 35-yards out on the right flank. Deflandres puts it into the box, Cannavaro heads it clear

Italy get forward and win a corner on the left. Fiore's cross is headed clear then Zambrotta is fouled by Goor. Albertini's free-kick misses everyboday and goes out of play for a goal-kick

Some great play down the right leads to a Belgian corner. Goor crosses into the box, Wilmots gets up well and heads just wide

Belgium win a thow-in deep inside the Italian half but they're forced back into midfield

Mpenza is tackled by Cannavaro and Italy attack, Inzaghi wins a corner on the left. Fiore crosses and it's headed clear, Italy get a throw-in on th efar side

Hendrikx finds Goor on the left but he's tackled. Nilis replaces Strupar for Belgium in the 57th minute

60-minutes played and the game is stuck in midfield

A great cross comes over from Nilis on the right, Zambrotta makes a mistake and almost lets a forward through, Italy are lucky to escap

Albertini fouls Verhayen 25-yards out and central as Totti is replaced by Del Piero in the 62nd minute

Nilis' free-kick forces another great save from Toldo

Conte plays a through ball but Inzaghi is caught offside again

Inzaghi and Fiore combine well and Fiore scores a great goal with a shot from just outside the box

Verhayen is replaced by M.Mpenza for Belgium in the 67th minute

Del Piero puts a corner right across the face of the box and everybody misses the ball

Del Piero finds Fiore, he threads a ball through for Inzaghi but he's caught offside yet again

Zambrotta is fouled by Vanderhaegue, 30-yards out. Fiore plays the bal intot he box but it's picked out of the air by de Wilde

Hendrikx fouls Conte on the half-way line

Delvecchio is blocked off in the box, there's an own-goal from Valgaeren but Delvecchio pushed him in the back so it's disallowed

Fiore is replaced by Ambrosini for Italy in the 82nd minute

Del Piero plays a cross field ball to Conte and Italy win a corner on the right. Del Piero crosses into the box, de Wilde punches it clear

Del Piero shows some tricks before playing a good pass to Ambrosini in midfield but Italy are forced to play the ball all the way back to Toldo

The ball drops to M.Mpenza in the box but he shoots well wide

Delvecchio does well to win the ball in midfield, he plays a good ball forward for Del Piero but he's given offside

Del Piero breaks from half-way, he finds Delvecchio out on the leff side of the box but de Wilde forces him wide and the move breaks down
