SCRAPE VICTORY
- Germany scraped their way to a narrow 2-1 victory
over the Faroe Islands in Hanover tonight in their
Euro 2004 qualifying game. Ballack gave them the
lead with a 2nd minute penalty but an own goal
on the stroke of half time levelled the tie. Miroslav
Klose sealed the victory with a 59th minute winning
goal. The result leaves Germany top of the Group
5 table with a maximum 6-points from 2-games.....Match
