- LAZIO 1-5 ROMA - There
were incredible scenes at the Stadio
Olimpico tonight as Roma moved back
to the top of Serie-A with a 5-1 thrashing
of Lazio. Vincenzo Montella surprisingly
started the game and scored a first
half hat -trick to put his side 3-0
up. Lazio got one back before 'the
little aeroplane' added his fourth.

LAZIO TRAINING - Fernando
Couto trained alone again today but
he's now expected to be in the starting
line-up for tomorrow's clash with
Roma. Gottardi and Lucas Castroman
are both fully fit again and are available
for selection. Negro and Favalli have
both returned to full training but
neither player will be available for
selection again until next week.

Couto trained alone today as he attempts
to recover from the slight back injury
that is troubling him, he's 'doubtful'
to make the starting eleven for Sunday's
'derby' game with Roma.

played a small friendly game against
Tor Sapienza today. Castroman was
forced off the field with a slight
thigh injury. Couto missed the game
after complaining of a back problem,
Peruzzi missed the game but trained
alone. All three should be available
for Sunday's clash with Roma. Gottardi
apepars to have fully recovered from
his injury.

currently injured and wouldn't have

Lazio squad are set to resume training
at Formello on Tuesday afternoon.
Colonnese's injury will keep him out
of action for at least a month and
Zaccheroni is searching for a suitable
replacement. Gottardi is set to return
to full training on Thursday, he should
have recovered from his thigh injury
by then. Favalli has pulled a muscle
in his left thigh and his condition
will have to be assessed.

Lazio players undertook an early morning
training session today where Lucas
Castroman trained with the rest of
the squad, there's a chance that he
could be on the bench for Sunday's
game with Venezia. Diego Simeone has
returned to full training, Negro,
Cesar and Favalli are all continuing
to make improvement, Favalli is almost
ready to return to full training.

practice match at today's training
session. Peruzzi, Giannichedda, Poborsky,
Lopez and Stankovic were all missing
but of these only Stankovic is 'doubtful'
