For
some bizarre reason that erstwhile authoratative journal
The Racing Post starts to wobble like The Millenium
Bridge when it attempts to dip their toes in the water with
it's coverage of Italian football.
I
don't know wherer they get their information from but they
are consistently wrong with their observations and so-called
'tipster' Ian Coyne has to be the worst tipster in the world.
I can't recall him getting one single Italian Football bet
correct, and they're almost as bad on their Spanish football
coverage.
Added
to his inability to spot a winner, he can't get through
a single paragraph without refering to Deportivo La Corruna
as 'The Galicians' , he can't think beyond calling a goalkeeper
'a cat' and if anyone ever scored two goals he appears to
have 'bagged a brace'. God forbid if the Galican Cat ever
bagged a brace, he'd go into overdrive. I'm thinking of
putting my cat up against him in a tipping contest. Correspondent
Steve Davies is not that better informed though his betting
selections are a little better.
This
Thursday's paper held the assumption that 'there is a
question mark over the fitness of Milan striker Andrei Shevchenko'
well there might be to them but everybody else seemed to
know that he'd been left out of the squad as early as Tuesday
and hadn't even made the trip to Cyprus for the game. Still
this is par for the course with them - I eagerly await this
weekends Serie-A 'tips'.
