Arsenal Face Fine After 7 Yellow Cards !
Arsenal face an automatic £25,000 fine from the FA after picking up seven Yellow Cards during yesterday's 1-0 defeat by Leeds at Elland Road. The FA are also looking at video replays that appear to show Patrick Vieira involved in a 'head-butting' incident with Leeds' Eirik Bakke and are also awaiting the referee's report on an incident in the tunnel which is believed to have involved Robet Pires and David O'Leary.


New Signing For Arsenal !
Arsenal have signed the 17-year-old Danish defender Sebastian Svard from FC Copenhagen and he will go into the Under-19 team at Highbury. Svard has already represented his county in Youth Internationals after being on FC Copenhagen's books since the age of 12.

Leeds U 1-0 Arsenal !
Arsenal stumbled to their second successive Premiership defeat today when they went down 1-0 to Leeds United at Elland Road, making it their sixth successive game without a win. The Gunners had seven players booked along the way and manager Arsene Wenger was restrained from reaching the match referee Dermot Gallagher at the end of the game.

Arsenal were easily brushed aside by Spartak Moscow in the Champions League this afternoon. Silvinho gave Arsenal a shock lead in the second minute of the game but Spartak gradually found their way back into the game and were very impressive as slowly but surely they tore Arsenal apart

Patrick Vieira's absence means that Arsenal are likely to use Ljungberg and Parlour in the centre of midfield for tomorrow night's Champions League game against Spartak Moscow. Lee Dixon and Oleg Luzhny are contesting the right back place, Dixon picked up an injury at Goodison Park on Saturday but appears to have recovered. Tony Adams, Silvinho and Thiery Henry are all expected to return to action but David Seaman is out of the game.

Injury Latest !
Arsenal expect to have Tony Adams back from injury in time for Wednesday's Champions League trip to Russia to play Spartak Moscow. Adams has missed Arsenal's last two games with a thigh injury but appears to be a certain starter in this vital game. Silvinho, who returned from South America woithout playing, is expected to have recovered from the Achilles tendon injury he picked up on his travels and Thierry Henry is expected to be in the starting line-up after recovering from the thigh strain that forced him to miss Saturday's defeat at Everton. Patrick Vieira is set to miss the game with an ankle injury, David Seaman is still suffering from an ankle injury and Gilles Grimandi will miss the match as he is serving the last game of his three match ban.


Reserve Team Beat Charlton !
A single goal from Christopher Wreh gave Arsenal reserves a 1-0 victory over Charlton reserves at Boreham Wood tonight. First team squad members Igor Stepanovs, Alberto Mendez and Graham Barrett all featured in the game.


Weston Completes Move !
Rhys Weston has completed his transfer from Arsenal to Cardiff City. He completed his medical and has agreed personal terms, the transfer fee has not been disclosed.

An under-strength Arsenal were comprhensively beaten 2-0 by Everton in their Premiership clash at Goodison Park, ending Arsenal's unbeaten Premiership run of 12-games. Arsenal found it hard to get into the game as they suffered their first ever Premiership defeat at Goodison. Arsenal remain in second place in the League Table but are now five points behind Manchester United.
