Derby Contracts ! - Goalkeeper Richard Knight wil stay 'on-loan' at Oxford United until the end of the season. 18-year-old Ian Evatt has signed a new 3-year contract with Derby County, he has been affiliated with Derby since the age of eleven.

Confusion At Derby - Derby County are blaming their penalty miss in the game against Watford over the wrong instructions being given by their coach Jim Smith. Stefan Schnoor believed that the coach had asked him to take the penalties but Smith had in fact intended to nominate Branko Strupar.
