Everton Will Ban Fans ! - Everton are determined to root out the 'so-called fans' who abused Leicester City's Muzzy Izzet during Saturday's game. Izzet was the victim of racial abuse because of his Turkish connections, following the outrage at the death of two Leeds United fans before last week's game agaisnt Galatasaray in Istanbul. Everton have threatened that everybody that they can single out as having taken part in the 'abuse' will be banned from Goodison Park for life. Newcastle United supporters associations have promised that there wil not be a repeat of the incident when Leicester visit St.James' Park on Saturday.

Dudfield's Progress ! - 19-year-old Lawrie Dudfield made his first team debut in last week's game against Everton at Filbert Street. Dudfield had only just returned to training in January after recovering from crutiate knee ligament damage and was brought on for the last half hour of the game. "At one stage I had written off this season, I enjoyed the game although the pace in the Premiership is a lot different."
