Suker Is Not Joining The Hammers ! - Harry Redknapp, the West Ham United coach, has dismissed any speculation that Croatian striker Davor Suker, currently playing with Arsenal, will be joining West Ham at the end of the season. Suker is unlikely to have his 1-year contract at Highbury extended and has publicly declared his intention to join West Ham, though Rednapp has denied any knowledge of the impending move.

Forest Injury ! - West Ham's Canadian goalkeeper Craig Forest may have to undergo a hernia operation in the next few days and his season could be almost over, though he intends to play through the pain barrier in tomorrow night's tie against Newcastle United. With first choice keeper Shaka Hislop already out for the season West Ham could be left with Ian Feuer and Stephen Bywater as their only options as goalkeeping cover.
